    Maybe who knows. Ive seen enough models here that I'm inclined to agree with you. Here's a video from the gama show.http://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=share&v=pR-z5PBsJx4 Looks like most of the models will be split in half. The open cockpit Miriya looks pretty good as does the recovery pod. I noticed a huge seam line on the Gnerl and pretty much all the models. Talk about seamgate.lol

    It would appear that those who would have liked a model that wasn't made in the 90's are going to be unhappy. This is from Kevin himself. "We were very happy with the Destroid prototypes that arrived late last week. With but a few small tweaks, they are done! The Spartan with missile bays open, the Tomahawk and Phalanx were among my favorites. All looked excellent." I know when the ks ended that I was told by others that he and PB in general go into self denial mode but I get why some would say that. I mean if you look at the comments on the ks page many legitimate concerns are being ignored. In fact the only time PB has commented was when they got into it with a disgruntled backer who wanted a refund.

    These models don't allow for better poses. Instead we get a spartan that looks like it's doing an impresion of a super deformed mech with that funky walking pose.

    What pisses me off is that PB is coming up with an excuse for the really bad engineering.

    Seems like the $% has hit the fan again. Some of their engineering choices has me doing a double take. I hope PB addresses this soon. So far the vf-1 and spartan look like the nichimo models from the 90's and that's not a good thing. I mean 20 some odd bits to make a tiny robot.     Any chance of him working in 1/285? With the miniatures game coming out I'd like to see valkyries from the other eras.

    I tried out the rules and I found hand to hand combat took most of my game time. Mostly to really bad rolls on my part. I don't see this lending itself well to mass combat, like in my games of 40k. When I shot at the pods they go pop like on the show. The glaug is pretty good in HtH. Depending on your mecha you get so many HtH options. I don't see a need when regardless of faction I only choose the same attacks that caused the most damage. This is were I can see this slowing down games of mass combat. Here's some pics of my test run. The quality of the updates has improved since then. Glad the 1% finally made their voices heard. Still that furball went on for 6 pages.

    I'd rather get the official versions of this set myself. I just wish they would add english subs. Someday I'm going to just buy a computer and get Rosetta Stone. In anime I notice it seems English is a required subject in Japan. I don't know I've never been there (I wish I could). If they can make the effort so can I.

    I'm going to have to go and check this out. I've been in SoCal all my life and I've never been. I've gone to the shrine and frank an sons just never to a macross only con. What can I expect? I'm looking forward to meeting Mari. Will she be there everyday of the con or certain days?

    I'll pass. This is why I never got into FF myself. All the last two movies do was confirm my dislike for the FF. I'm amazed their still around.

    Unfortunately my computer recently crashed. If not for my tablet I'd have no Internet access. I was just asking if someone could burn me a copy with proper subs. If not I'll just get a Malaysian copy from eBay in next payday.

    No mine was fine. At some points the subs get a bit wonky but for the most part are pretty good and the picture was surprisingly good. It was wrapped in clear plastic with the DVDs in a slim tin case that slides into a fancy DVD cover that has a flap that opens at the front. Now to watch the two MF movies that came with it.

    Ah, I did not know. Still I I'd like whoever released the sdf1 to rerelease it.

    I just got done watching the Malaysian version with English subs. It was ok, got it from eBay. It will work with your ps3 just like the m30 game. Know one knows if it will have English subs. That's why I haven't placed my order.
