Really. I didn't realize there was a drone packed into the leg armor. Looking at it again, I can see where it would go. Interesting. Here's an idea I had while I was looking at it.
What about redesigning the gunpod to include modern principles, like a railgun set up? Maybe for the strike pack instead? Or maybe turn the gunpod into a beam weapon testbed? Just thoughts. Sorry. You got the old brain firing on this one.
I really like this summation. Alto definitely needs to figure out how to make a choice. In some weird sense, I think the destinies of everyone may depend on it.
I agree. The problem is the network that the show is on. Fox is not noted for giving things a chance. I hope that things have changed a bit, but I am not going to hold my breath. The show really is fun to watch. It really surprised me.
I like the angles. It gives VF-1 a more predatory look with the Fast Packs. I've wondered what a 2008 interpretation of a 1980's design might look like. You kept it retro, while modernizing the support equipment. That works pretty well in my opinion.
I think that this may be a pre-order for me, at least once there are new details that I can see. I liked the VF-11. There was something really special in its simplicity. There wasn't a lot of flashyness to it. It was a workhorse fighter, not unlike its namesake from previous generations.
The creative talent on this forum has always managed to surprise me in the four years I have been here. Customs, boxes, art. You all really know how to support this series in incredible ways. There are some seriously special folks on the forum.
Yeah. I was reading up on that. The thing is that I am much to reticent to even try to transform it because the defect exists. Secondly...all thumbs. What I may do is get another at some point and transform that one. I hear the 1A doesn't have the same tightness leading to snapping problem, but I never really got into the Hikky 1A. I may wait for a CF (if it is made). Right now, I am making some financial changes as well. That tends to kill disposable income. I'll probably get another one in November.
I never got into Guitar Hero's soul crushing higher difficulty. I can play some songs on RB on Hard or Expert, but I could never get past medium on GH. I guess this means I am not cool as a player, but I would rather enjoy the game than be frustrated all the time. The other issue I have is time. Going to grad school has a tendency to kill your free time.
My guess is that they are people that are of interest in setting up future resources for the resistance. On the flip side of this, some of them could also be terminators that are undercover as humans in order to set up resources for the machines (like in season 1).
My main concern right now is that the show will continue on. From what I have seen, the ratings haven't been higher than a 2.0 Knowing Fox's rep, they may cancel it before it gets going. I hope that isn't the case, but I am not sure. It really is a fun show to watch. I also want to know what the heck is up with Cameron.
I just want to say again how much I love my 1S. It really is making me want to get more. The tightness of the toy astounds me every time I pick it up. I still haven't transformed it, mostly to avoid the breakage of the shoulder joint. Too bad making 34k a year in one of the top five most expensive areas in the USA doesn't afford much. I would have orderef the 1A and 1J already. Tad bit annoying, that.
.....and I really, really want the VF-1D
I think that he probably went out with the Megaroad One fleet. That'd be a heck of a loose end to leave dangling around. Kawamori really doesn't want to revisit all those old characters. I guess, in a way, we are lucky that we got more Max and Millia in 7.
I dunno. The GNU series seems like a good size for a fighter only mode. I think the 1/100 aren't going to be that sturdy, and frankly, I hate flimsy stuff.
Personally, I would buy the fighters. I barely, if ever, transformed any of the old yamatos I had. For me, Macross is all about the fighters and spaceships. I would probably buy all of these, to my financial detriment.
This really was a good episode. I think the series may have taken a pretty dark turn (well, obviously). I have a bad feeling that a lot of people are going to die in quick order.
