I actually have most of the single issues for the DW Transformers series. I've been trying to get rid of them forever.

Two words... Pod Racing. Three more... Ten year old. Anakin should have never been A) a slave and B) a little kid. I always envisioned him having the same rise like Luke did in his teens, only making the wrong choices and falling to the dark side.

I haven't watched this since the end of the first series. I am more of an old school UC fan. Did the series get any better, or did it go more the way of Wing, like I saw happening?

It worked pretty well in my opinion. This one wasn't Casino Royale, but it did a fine job without all the gimmicks.

Sounds typical to me. Apparently very few directors see the necessity of doing original material for the movies for their shows Sigh. Oh well. Business as usual. At least we got a good show.

The only issue I ever had with a Yamato toy was the old VF-11. The hip broke and I just tossed it. Nowadays, I usually just keep the Valks in fighter mode. That was always my favorite configuration. I've had no real issue because of the fact that I really don't mess with them.

Huh. Animation corrections? More reason for me to shell out for the Blu Rays, I guess.

The customization crowd always amazes and fascinates me. These guys and gals pull some really cool stuff out of their hates when it comes to the mecha models. The best I have ever been able to do was customs for Warhammer 40K miniatures, and even then it was amateur at best.

Honestly, I liked the way Galaxy's bridge and upper torso section looked. The fact that it was the purple color didn't do it any favors, but as another variant on the NMC carrier, it was pretty cool.

If this is being fed to me from Sheryl, then I can deal with this.......thing. However, since Sheryl isn't real, and this.......thing.....is; I will have to say no freaking way.

Lets get back to this in a few months. I still highly doubt that Frontier will ever see this side of the pond, without importing the DVDs or piracy. I agree with you that things change, but this has been going on an awful long time. My personal take on the whole thing is this:

I just wish he'd do an original movie. I mean, the guys who did Ghost in the Shell did a movie that was a continuation of the story. For christ sakes, it isn't that hard to do.

On a personal level, I consider it bad storytelling to set up a plot that you have no intent to resolve. Until we get more info about how the movie is going to play out (I am still thinking rehash of the story), that will always be open-ended. It just bugs me because I see it in other anime to the point where it feels cliche to me. Now, that being said, maybe that ending fit the series. Alto's first love was flying, especially in a real sky. Maybe what won out in the end was completing the dream he had in acheiving that goal. All in all, it wasn't such a bad way to end Frontier, but I just wish it hadn't used the cliche ending that has been used in other anime.

I have the plain Clone Trooper helmet. It is awesome!

This might be out by my convention. I want to see if anyone has one that I can look at up close.

I have to go with Graham. The front landing gear needs to be a lot longer than it is, and by enxtension, the rear as well. That side profile looks all kinds of wrong to me. It just isn't asthetically pleasing.
