wow... so little patience... figuring the models only started coming out a few months ago... the transforming toy taking a little longer isn't so surprising. people have been complaing about yamato being late for a while now, but by my reckoning they have been meeting their stated roll out dates pretty well for a while now.

History channel is running a program on the history of the f-14... it ends with a happy ending, saying how detractors said the f-14 was finished back in the 80's but how upgrades kept it going another 2 decades and how the f-14 will keep flying well into this new century. if only...

I don't think they'll have clark moving from lana to lois in smallville... that transition like the flying and the cape is more of mark of his maturation and full acceptance of who he is... smallville is all about him figuring that out. Besides, I think things are still too unresolved with lana... the scene I want to see, which was done so nicely in the comics, is the one where clark finally tells lana about his powers and the sense of responsibility he feels towards humanity.

I agree with you... but I don't think anyone is saying that we shouldn't be modernizing our weapons.. just that it's sad to see this bird go... thanks to a certain movie and an anime plane that bears resemblance to it... many of us have fond memories of it...

Well, I'm glad there's going to be more detail... though, I'm ok with how it looks in the photos already... so bonus! I'm not sure about the adding of non canon panel lines/detail... the Q-rau's, IMO, could have used some extra detailing...

Canon doesn't really matter much as far as Superman, or comic books in general. The new JJ Abrams movie script is about how Krypton doesnt blow up. um... yeah... Jor El: Sorry hunny, looks like I just shot our son across the galaxy for no good reason... hehehe... I don't know.. they've kept that intro to clark and lois now in all of his comic relaunches, in the old lois and clark show and even in the latest superman: rebirth comic series... I thin the smallville writters know they have some play but they've been pretty good about keeping the big stuff in line... like lana and clark never getting together, clark and luthor being friends early on, stuff like that.

sad.. I wanted a hikaru 1s type... oh well.

if they do have lois, they probably won't have clark actually meeting/interacting with lois... since it's pretty much superman canon that superman falls in love with lois when he saves her from falling (something that flies in the air)... me thinks.

if the reissues are already out of the stores, ebay or trades will probably be your best bet. But definitely get the reissue... the first one had the problems listed, plus, many had a noticable head seam.
