  1. The functions the Lego designer was able to pack into the set are impressive. Here is a behind the scenes video of the Ornithoper with the designer:
  2. Any news on the VF-19 Kai reissue? Is it still scheduled for this month?
  3. I'm definitely picking up the Lion and Azrael (even if I’m not too kern on his Primaris redesign). I think Rogal Dorn and Corvus Corax could be candidates for showing up next because someone needs to wield the Emperor's power claw. Dorn seems to be more likely given the supposed state Corax is in. Plus the Black Templars seem to be popular (and also clad in black Power Armor).
  4. Well, I hope Anime Export will open their preorders for the second batch (and hopefully they will stay open for longer than just mere minutes).
  5. Well there is always the possibility picking it up on the secondary market, or if it is really that popular opening preorders for a second batch. I'm still surprised it sold out that quickly.
  6. The Kaempfer was up for preorder at Anime Export but sold already out in approximately 2 minutes. I read somewhere that Bandai is cracking down on proxy stores for TWE items so maybe this is a sign that Anime Export can’t acquire as much stock as in the past so that is why it sold out so quickly.
  7. @lechuck I hoe the base still has a marking pointing out what Suit this is. I hate when someone deviates from an established and consistent patter.
  8. My copy dropped into my Anime Export stash today! After getting my copy of Suiken recently I'm not looking forward having this one in hand. Suiken is the worst MPG so far and since Seizan shares a skeleton with with him, I expect the same from MPG-05. As bad as Suiken is he will probably be eclipsed by Kaen and/or Raiden itself.
  9. I hope Sony announces a PS5 Pro before FF7 Rebirth comes out. With regards to Sephiroth being hit with a chair by Aerith: I'm totally going to recreate that once I have the BringArts toys.
  10. After seeing the Titan Fort Max being reissued, I'm fairly certain that the next Transformers HasLab project will be a Devastator.
  11. Are NFTs still a thing? I thought they are practically useless at the moment?
  12. But that is a big problem it is not the Kämpfer Amazing piloted by Tatsuya Yuuki I mean Meijin Kawaguchi from the best Gundam show ever. It is just boring old Kämpfer in blue.
  13. I'm very whelmed with the excitement of the PulseCon reveals. The only one I'm looming forward is the Galvatron repaint of Energon Megatron. If they do a Cliffjumper or Nemesis Prime out of the Animated toys I'm also on board since the original Animated Nemesis Prime (technically Optimus Prime Black Ver.) is one of my favorite black and teal toys. However, I don’t feel that the style they chose works for the Legacy toy line. There is too many flared out, non straight shapes on them that clash with the lines aesthetic. And while everyone berates the nones on the Prime toys, they fit better into the G1 style in my opinion. What I'm trying to say: They look more like their Animated selves but less like they belong in the Legacy line. Meh on the Rocklords. I'm sure the Hasbro design team struggled with how to incorporate the concept into Legacy and went with the one that makes the least amount of sense to me (i.e. vehicles with extra greebles).
  14. New Final Fantasy 7 BringArts figures: Barret (¥12000, release 04/24): https://www.anime-export.com/index.php?product=72869 Sephiroth (¥12000, release 06/24): https://www.anime-export.com/index.php?product=72870 Red XIII (¥12000, release 09/24): https://www.anime-export.com/index.php?product=72871 That leaves Vincent, Cid, Yuffie and Cait Sith. I hope they release Vincent and Yuffie so I can have at least my go to party in 6" scale.
  15. I‘m interested in the SHF Tekken 8 line. Given Bandais terrible track record of finishing lines (looking at you SHF Street Fighter line) I probably pick and choose releases.
  16. I feel like a merger would reduce Nintendo to a software company or worse an IP provider for Microsoft hardware. From a hardware perspective Nintendo would be getting a powerful technology stack for sure. However, we would probably lose the quirkiness of the Nintendo hardware and Nintendo games would just run on a glorified PC box in the living room. I assume mobile gaming and customer proliferation wouldn’t be at the point it is today if it wasn’t for the Switch and WII respectively. From my perspective we live in an age were hardware plays less and less of a role for games. What matters is the quality of the gameplay. Some Nintendo titles like TotK would certainly benefit from beefier hardware but overall it seems less of a factor at the moment. Keep in mind I don’t own a gaming PC or current consoles at the moment besides the Switch and I’m currently playing Warhammer 40k Boltgun and F-Zero 99.
  17. @davidwhangchoi HLJ is having a raffle for buying the MS Nu Gundam: https://www.hlj.com/metal-structure-rx-93-nu-gundam-raffle/ The cutoff date for the raffle is 09/27/23 and you have to be subscribed to the HLJ newsletter to enter it.
  18. @davidwhangchoi saw that the reservations for the MS Nu Gundam are open at E Knight Media over at TFW: https://www.eknightmedia.com/ms-gundam-char-s-counterattack-rx-93-v-gundam-kaitai-shou-ki-metal-structure-action-figure-by-bandai-tamashii-nations.html The way I understand it is not a preorder but a potential reservation if they get enough stock and they require a non-refundable $100 downpayment: https://www.tfw2005.com/boards/threads/bandai-metal-build-discussion.1115253/page-408#post-21685250
