    That is why I said that I think that Bandai can produce a great Valkyrie toy from the get go because on my version of the YF-30 the prongs weren't needed. However I would have nothing against more locking points especially on the torso of the Valkyrie. I believe that the VF-30 is miles away from the debacle the V1 VF-25 was. Can you please elaborate more about the "cut a lot of corners and got a lot wrong" statement in your post. I'm curious what the issue is with the toy besides the braces.

    And they called Orbital Frames. Btw. the groin cockpit design makes total sense in universe because piloting an Orbital Frame is a Gentlemen sport. And what Gentleman would kick another Gentleman in the groin? You see, it makes perfect sense. I wonder if Sentinel is planning on releasing the other Frames. I would be totally down for a transformable Vic Viper.

    I think the arms will be stored under the orange plate in my picture. I also think that the tail fins go on the back of the legs. I.e. the fin in the top goes on the back of the left leg and the bottom fin on the right leg. If this is the case it would look very funny but I'm sure Kawamori has figured out some mechanisms to make them look appealing. I might be on the wrong track here because having the tail fins on the arms as shields would be awesome. I think I've seen on twitter an image of the SV-262 in Battroid-Mode that was made by a fan I assume. There it has a cowled head much like the YF-21/VF-22. If this is indeed true it would be a bummer for me because I'm not really fond on how the Sturmvogel looks in Battroid-Mode. Especially the head turret.

Your thoughts?

    I thought we are talking about Bandais ability to produce a killer Valkyrie the first time around and not about the general design of the Valkyrie (which is Kawamoris domain). After the YF-30 and VF-19ADVANCE I would say yes.

    If your talking about the way the YF-30 torso does not lock together I would agree with you if I'd actually need all the braces and attachment piece that hold the torso together and the nosecone into place. However there is still a lot room for improvements. The torso not locking together was also a major point of criticism for the whole Renewal line (YF-29 onwards). The fact that the nosecone didn't lock into place is bypassed by the VF-31 since it has a different transformation for it. Other than that I don't have a lot to criticism.

    My Riobot Anubis is sitting in my private warehouse. He came in one day after I created a shippment. 60 days max storage this is not enough. Maybe I should ask HLJ if they could extend it to 61 or 62 days. I love the 6 month window BBTS offers.

    What I meant is that they should ban the concept of Bespin Luke from their marketing schemes since it is severely damaging the young children out there.

    Well I don't exactly want the VF-25 to be the CF fighter in Delta but I think it would be the logical progression. It would be the most cost effective way to just use the Frontier model clean it up a bit, slap a generic paint onto Valkyrie and maybe give her a new head turret. It would be awesome if the CF is a completely new designed Valkyrie or adapting a design we already seen. For example a VF-5000 would make a great CF machine but I don't think this will happen. So the best positive outcome of this situation would be a heavily modified Valkyrie based on the VF-24 so that I have more incentive to buy a toy of this one. Just a new head turret might not cut it (since I passed on the Bandai YF-25) Speaking of the YF-24 and since the show is called Delta maybe they adapt the delta wing design of the YF-24 for the CF Valkyrie since the VF-31 doesn't have delta wings the show title seems misleading.

    If they include a cannon fodder Valkyrie to the series and it would be the VF-25 it would be cool to have it redesigned for the general use inside the NUNS forces. Since Kawamori stated that the CF fighters should not look too heroic (hence the switch from the VF-19 to the VF-171) maybe the VF-25 will have a new look that tones the angelic wing backpack down. It would be awesome to see a new take on the VF-25 after we knew the Messiah in and out after Frontier (and toys). However I feel that the departure is probably not that big of a difference since it is more cost effective to just use the 3D model from Frontier. Also the VF-17 needed some major rework since the designs where all hand-drawn and hat a lot of unrealistic proportion shifts between the modes. This isn't true for the VF-25. That said I really hope the include a third Valkyrie type that is different from the VF-31 and SV-262 to be blown up by the enemies.

    Thank god Star Wars is finally kid friendly. Now please ban the Bespin Luke with the severed hand and don't ever release action figures/prints/statues of uncle Owen and aunt Beru's skeletons. Thank you Disney, a worried fan of Star Wars.

    But Overtechnology! The YF-21/VF-22 also used its tail fins as a shield. So this is not unheard of.

    Wasn't Clampdown a Takara Mall Exclusive? If so the regular Japansese shops won't have him. These toy releases seem similar to Bandai Web Shop Exclusives when it comes to distribution.

    Yamatos DYRL? Valkyries had a off-white tone whereas the SDF:M Valkyries where pure white as far as I remember. As ChaoticYeti said the Arcadia Valkyries are all white (VF-1S Hikaru/Roy from DYRL and the VF-1J GBP).

    I'm sure Bandai is a big enough company to get the license back from ET (maybe by buying them) . So if the HMR VF-2SS is released and it does well (doubtful) maybe they will take a shot at a DX release. But I think you're right. Even if the DX Chogokins are non-scale Bandai won't be able to release one of the VF-2SS at the moment.

    I have some issues with the backpack. Form the side it looks like the back of the car is sitting over his had. This in itself is nothing bad since it is a Transformer and you should be able to make out parts of the alt-mode. However it looks very hallow from the side. I'd rather have some mechanism to collapse the backpack on itself and creating a more solid look. This is something that the Masterpiece did very well but seems to be missing on Tracks. I think this is the first MP that Kobayashi was responsible alone as the design-lead after he took over from Hasui (MP-22 seem more like a joint-venture between the two). So I'm looking forward if Tracks is an indication of where things are going. MP Hot Rodimus looks strikingly similar to MP-09 in the way his torso is created. While I never thought that the torso of MP-09 was the part of the toy that was exceptionally bad many think that the sandwich look is unworthy of the MP line. Of course it could be that Hasui created all the easy designs first and now that the more complex transformation schemes are done you could preserve the look of the early Masterpieces (MP-10 onwards). With that being said I personally think that all MP releases after MP-21 Bumble where not as good as the one that came before. I have some major issues with Magnus and Star Saber so I hope Tracks wins be over since I'm a huge fan of this Autobot.

    Oh sorry I couldn't tell from Sildanis post what's the matter. Is it now showing up? It was showing up perfectly fine for me. That is easy it is the Dassault Rafale. The ugly fuel probe destroys the whole look of the aircraft.

    Like a twin engine fighter-jet that has them close together? That isn't a concept that is uncommon so I was surprised that the idea the Draken has only one engine came up. Especially after we seen what it looks like. In addition I just like to post images of aircrafts.... ...because aircrafts are awesome.

    I can be exited for something even if it might never see the light of day so what is your problem? I'm not taking the display piece at the show as an indication that all of them getting released The outlook of a HMR VF-2SS gets me exicted Those are two completely different things.
