  1. Someone inside Satelite must be a master troll (take that HG)
  2. It is impressive that the Red Frame can still stand upright with the Flight Unit attached. I wonder how solid he fill feel in hand.
  3. Don't worry, I've heard that their paint isn't perfect* so you don't have to fear damaging it during handling. *see Chachipowers review of their Getter Robos.
  4. So I've dusted off my toy collection today and I have to say out of all my 3rd party robot toys MMCs Warper is still the best overall package. Articulation, paint application, auto morph, mech alive, engineering. Everything is there and executed well. Sadly MMC has abandoned the HoS bots. Hopefully they come through with their DJD line and don't stop them prematurely.
  5. I'l try... TFC also did some official combiners called StarCats I believe and I'm pretty sure you can make another Devastator from the Crazy Devy upgrade kits.

    Bandai DX VF-31

I wonder if Bandai will release transforming toys other than the Valkyries. I would be all up for a Renewal Macross Quarter.
  7. I would be all in on a Masterpiece Trailbreaker. The toy deco with the black car and the red and yellow stripes scream childhood and 80s to me. So much nostalgia. I also wouldn't mind if MMC does an IDW Trailbreaker.
  8. IIRC you are missing Talon and Tigris. They are available over at PSX. Since they get the stock first I think your retailer will get theirs shortly: http://www.planetsteelexpress.com/r-02/ http://www.planetsteelexpress.com/r-06-tigris/
  9. As I said in the Transformers thread (I think) I value consistency over anything else in my collectibles. So the fact that Green Giant is in line with M³ and Quantron makes it an instant win. I also think from all the Devastators out there he has the best combo of purple and green. Regarding Guardia I think Axel has a intriguing transformation. The only thing that could made it better would be a front wheel that doesn't just sit there on his back like on an ordinary retail Transformer for kids.
  10. Sheryl looks like she is holding a cigar instead of a microphone.

    Bandai DX VF-31

I sure Bandai is pressuring Kawamori do design as much weapon pods as possible so they can sell color coded add-on sets for each Valkyrie.
  12. A Dragon or a Dragoon?
  13. But it doesn't fit in with my other FP/MT combiners. I need consistency in my life!!! I'm also not a fan of toys that are big for the sake of being big. The MT/FP size is big enough for me. I never get the draw of figures like UW Devastator or the Titan Class Metroplex. They all look and feel terribly cheap to me. The Giant set have some good bots in them. I like Scrapper and Mixmaster as well as Long Haul. The two arms are not as good because they carry Giants shoulder joints on their back. Hook is just all sorts of terrible with the crane and a head that looks out of place with the other bots to me.
  14. That is why I don't like to pay full price for it. I really dig the individual robots of M³ and Quantron but the individual bots of Giant are a bit wonky. Especially their crane bot. Maybe I should go for MakeToys Guardia instead. Their individual bots look amazing so far. I probably will wait till they reveal their Hotspot to make my final verdict but they look great so far.
  15. Not enough. I bought their Quantron for $250 so this is where I would like to see a future sales price. On ebay they usually go from $175 to $250 these days.
  16. Fewture makes cool toys. I'm super interested in their recent Getter Robo series but their price points are an instant mood killer for me.
  17. It will probably be the most disappointing moment in the show. They surely can't deliver to satisfy the hype I build up by myself.
  18. I have just one question. Did the Draken transform into Battroid-Mode? I really don't want to listen to the podcast until I saw the first two episodes myself but I would love to know if some people where finally able to see the Draken in full detail.
  19. Since Takara is so slavish to the cartoon I don't understand that decision. Especially since there are ways to remove the printings easily. The toy looks unpainted to me so it would be no deal to remove the faction markings with some rubbing alcohol without doing harm to the toy. It is always easy to remove them but incredibly hard to put something on with the same quality as factory applied markings. Maybe they opted not to print them on because the two parts of the lower arm meet in the center where the marking would be. Maybe they aren't able to apply them cleanly over a seam-line. It is a total bummer though and I probably have to buy the Ocean transfer decals to finish a official toy. I know the use of stickers aren't unrepresented since MP Rachted have them (but they couldn't put the Red Cross markings directly on it) and G2 MP Sideswipe had them (but he was an offshoot of the original toy) but he had them but the stickers where the prime reason I didn't buy G2 Sideswipe. I'm a major Shockwave fan so I have to get it but this really devalues the toy in my eyes. In my toy collecting habits I value consistency in a line more than anything else so this back and forth on the renewal Masterpiece line makes them a love-hate relationship to me. There where several major shifts in the line from MP-10 to MP-29 and I just want to line them all up in my shelf and they should look good together.
  20. I wish someone would to a Green Giant sale now that the official Devastator is out and two new companies are releasing their version. I know they are probably relatively inexpensive to get through ebay but I don't want to spend that amount of money for a potential knock off.
