  1. After putting in a couple of hours into FM2, I see it needs a little more polish. The translation so far isn't bad, but it's on the rough side. I've also run into some glaring typos, which I think is inexcusable with the ease of auto correction today. Minor niggles aside, the graphic upgrade is better than the one in the FM1 remake, and the sound effects are quite good. The combat scenes are more dynamic and flow much faster than those in the original game. Just a much better way to play FM2 than using a modded PS1 and a translated online script.
  2. I'm looking forward to going back to Night City real soon, my buddy says it has improved greatly since I last played. Armored Core has been taking a lot of my dwindling gaming time though.
  3. Yep, that would be cool too. I think Yamaguchi will sculpt this new figure into a huge upgrade over the NECA version, although that figure wasn't too bad in its own right. And while I would've preferred Rachel as a companion figure, Ayane will work also.
  4. Ninja Gaiden figures are waaaay overdue, but still welcome in my collection.
  5. Remember when Goodsmile released a freaking in-scale tank for their Girls und Panzer figmas? Well Hachette is going to do them better with their newest partworks subscription kit:
  6. It was also 10% off, so that also got me off the fence. The extra goodies that go with physical copy were kinda lame anyways.
  7. I'm torn. Should I download the FM2 remake for instant gratification or wait for a pre order of a physical copy to be delivered?
  8. Morrigan's head sculpt looks fine, but man those hips. It looks like she can birth out a Volkswagen.
  9. 1/24 scale Ingram not big enough? Just wait til next year: pilotable Ingram in the works.
  10. Go for a legit retro look: Maybe scout the local goodwill for a junker Gamcube with a decent shell? I found a decent looking Dreamcast there once. I've also seen 3D printed shells.
  11. I see the Remake games have totally jacked up the story:
  12. That's an excellent DAICON tribute!
  13. Nice pics, it looks quite majestic just straight out of the box. If ever an enterprising 3rd party company made custom printed pieces and/or decals for British Airways or even the BOAC prototype liveries, I just may have to grab another Concorde kit.
  14. Fully body shot of the big G (he's actually posed as a letter "G"):
  15. Wow, City Connection is hitting all the right buttons for me right now. Back in the early 80's, I, as a wee arcade rat, got to play the side-scroller Aeroboto (Formation Z) and loved it because you get to pilot a transforming jet, and this was right around the same time Robotech was on the air. Well a remake is now planned for next year:
  16. Speaking of old school mecha gameplay, I never would have guessed this game would get released again: It's going to be part of City Connection's tribute to select Saturn games. This one is gonna be a treat for me since I only heard about the game in import gaming magazine ads back in the day and never got to play it. It's going to be on Steam next year and even if doesn't have subtitles, I'm buying it.
  17. Yep, Cap was a mainstay in my team during the MvsC days, and a Marvel Legends sized figure of him would be grand. My guess as to why this lineup is that tall is maybe they want to keep them in scale with some level boss toys in the future? Or maybe toys of those bipedal mechs the team uses as mounts?
  18. This one looks to be pretty cool, it's quite reminiscent of Wolf Fang, Assault Suit Leynos/Valken, and even Elevator Action Returns:
  19. Their BUTCHER series of mechs has my attention, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on these guys.
  20. I never thought this guy would ever have a toy made of him: 52TOYS is making one of the Captain himself, as well as the rest of the gang, so of course, I preordered them all: I would wish for a larger scale, but beggars can't be choosers when it comes to merchandise of forgotten beat 'em up games. This only gives me hope that 52TOYS will venture into Strider Hiryu territory.
  21. Apparently that Red Leader X-Wing was MIA for decades until it was found in Jein's collection. Just to shift focus on the man himself instead of his stuff, check out this video:
  22. Legendary Hollywood model builder Greg Jein died last year at the age of 76, and now the huge treasure trove of models and memorabilia he amassed is going to be auctioned off. I think the headlining piece will be the large scale Red Leader X-Wing model used during the filming of Star Wars' trench run with an opening bid of 400K USD: His collection is astounding from works ranging from Buck Rogers, V, and even Ultraman. The items are well beyond my pay grade, but I think most of MW would have just as much fun as I did browsing through the listings. I clicked on the thumbnail for this item, thinking it was a Tribble
  23. On the heels of Torrent comes this plushy: If ever you wanted a plushy of a living jar of human flesh, now is the time for you.
  24. Dang, Ryan Ottley's (INVINCIBLE) variant cover makes me feel sorry for Starscream:
