I was right that Bilrer wanted to see Minmay. But annoyed we still don't know much about Bilrer. Did he close the locket and let out a sigh? Did this mean his objectives were not met? I was right that the giant holo ranka was actually Macross Galaxy. I was right that the Vajra don't want to fight humanity. I was right Sheryl's disease will "magically" be cured. I was right that Alto got off the plane before getting shot. Rather strange though since the point he got shot according to the flashback was when he flew across the cruiser and already ejected....when in fact from past episode, he got shot after he flew past the cruiser and got off a distance before getting shot. I was right it was going to be Quarter/Frontier/Vajra vs Galaxy battle.

I wonder what fleet was the 11th Immigration Fleet and will it or does it play any importance in the future. -Ranka was wearing a space suit and carried to the Vajra queen's lair by Ai kun, but somehow she ended up on Battle Galaxy in a white frock? Hmmm. Probably Grace took her back when she reached the queen's lair. -Ghost V-9!! OMG....a whole squadron of them!! Too bad we only seen like few seconds of them. I loved how they moved like the original Ghost X-9 with its erratic movements. -Koenig Monster battroid mode....2 seconds screentime. Oh well. - TOTSUGEKI LOVE HEART battle formation!! Ozma is certified Firebomber fanboy. - EX-GEAR is too big for Klan. - No Nene action. At least she survived. - DOUBLE DAEDALUS ATTACKKKK!!!! Awesome!! - Bilrer is not only a train otaku, he's also a pop idol otaku (aka Minmei). - V-type infection can be controlled by Ranka, so it moves from the brain to the intestines granting Sheryl equal powers to Ranka. - RANKA FOLD SLAP!! Epic! Slap returned to Sheryl few times fold. Unanswered Questions: - What happens to the vajra now? Will they take Ranka as their queen since they are queenless now? - Bilrer? Will he have accomplished his objectives? And what's his relationship with Minmei? Is he just a fanboi? - Its strange that Grace despite how well her plans were going , her plans failed in controlling the Vajra and she didn't forsee this. At which point exactly do you think her plan went downhill? Was it when she lost Ranka , or when Ranka healed Sheryl? You'd think Ranka being an important victory objective she'd be more heavily guarded. There's more but i can't think of them now since i'm late to work.

Then what was the giant vajra that crushed the space station that Ranka escaped from? I thought that was the queen but apparently not. It looks like a giant version of the red vajra. Alto x Ranka is the only way, Alto x Ranka is the only way, Alto x Ranka is the only way, Alto x Ranka is the only way Frankly i don't think it will EVER get resolved. Oh and the kisses were ALL initiated by Sheryl....and Alto never ever savours the moment each time she does it. He's just doing it in pity of her.

And someone in IRC pointed out.....Alto's indecision now made Michel's death more meaningless since he died while knocking some sense into Alto about being decisive.

She says "KOI", that she won't lose to sheryl at song AND love. Then they both smile at each other and say "This is a new beginning". So is the movie a confirmed thing? Some people are saying the end has a notice about a theatrical release.

Well the last transformable valkyries made by Bandai leave alot to be desired, like the Macross 7 and Macross 2 line. And the initial prototype photos of the kit was so-so....not that great. Bandai does it like that and the formula works for them since the gunpla community is thriving. Besides dun think its financially viable for them to sell JUST the armored/fast pack kits....at least i never seen Bandai doing such things before. Maybe they should, like how Kotobukiya makes option part sets for their Armored Core line.

Maybe Macross 7 fleet came to help. Well i guess Leon is overthrown eventually and Quarter assumes command of the fleet. As for the extra ships, possibly those are all in the Frontier fleet. Canaria's VB6 and the rest of the VF-25s look suspiciously like the same overlay used in episode 14, with Quarter in the background instead. Anyone can confirm?

Sellers in HK are wholesalers and i suppose some of them get the toys direct from the china factories rather than from Japan itself (rumour has it that they bribe factories for "unregistered stock" and that's how their toys are so cheap). Toys in HK generally are cheaper if you buy them from the storefront....but if u buy it online, after exorbitant shipping elsewhere it comes to about the same.

I don't see the connection. And i'm not sure if you're accurate with the whaling controversy....because Japan fish the whales mainly for meat. Yes. They love their whale meat (taste horrible? probably) and treat it as a rare delicacy. The whole "research" thing is just a front to the international community. And it hard to draw any connection since the Frontier fleet harvested vajra carcasses, not actually go hunting them. And as for what Alto's doing, they were harvesting vajra carcasses which was later revealed in ep 23, were used to create the new MDE ammunition and missiles.

Macrossworld? Lenient? Well i never compared bandai to yamato but the DX was pretty bad. And i don't think i was ever lenient with yamato. If something looks wrong I'd mention it immediately. Remember when ppl kept whinging on the YF-19's gullet? I'm losing faith here. The prototypes have no improvements on each incarnation and the release date is nearing, i don't see them changing the sculpt any more.

If you're been following the thread people have made their points. 5.) Legs are too high up the torso (main complaint) 6.) shoulders are abit chunky 7.) shield connects too far from the hand 8.) head lasers are too far apart from the head amongst those i remember. Let me add that the shoulder connection points look really fragile looking and doesn't look like its part of the upper torso at all. Kinda bad design there.

Urgh....appalling. Frankly i hope this DX will be scapped ala VF-0 and get completely reworked. IF i ever do get the DX and it remains like this, i'll leave it in fighter mode cuz that's the mode that's least appalling.

In an asian society, we respect our elders by referring to them by honorifics and not by their name. If I know someone is slightly older than me and we are quite close, i'll call him big brother/sister. If the person is considerably older, I'll call them uncle or aunt. In Japan its abit more specific by having the word "sempai" which refers to any general person that is more experienced than you in any particular activity. School, work, yakuza, etc. I didn't realise that the concept will be so alien to non-asians though. Interesting. Benkyo benkyo! PS: As for shoujo yuri....lol...ironically Redwolf is right that everyone is everyone's "sister" in a shoujo yuri anime. "Sachiko nee-sama!"
