For the price i wish it came with LEDs. But anyway what's with the missile racks that have no missiles?

From what i'm playing so far and i started with the M7 campaign, the maps are definately bigger than the GBU maps. I've yet to hit a "No Entry" red wall. But i can't help but feel the game has less depth than GBU, if that's even possible. Most enemy mecha die with one hit from gunpod, missiles or any weapon u dish out at them. Brings new meaning to cannon fodder. IE: A whole load of regults just stand around waiting to get missiled while only 1 or 2 of them fire at you. Basara joining the battle and annoying you is simulated by your auto targetting reticle targetting him every time you wipe out an enemy wave. Small distraction but it does get on your nerves. The Glavil battle was kinda cool. It has Pin Point Barriers!!! So far unlocked Miriya's VF-1J and VF-17, VF-17S/D and default mecha is VF-11C. Pilots unlocked is only Gamlin for now. Gonna call it a night.

I like this podcast. I totally agree with the plot points that go nowhere. Except the Ranka bashing. LEAVE RANKA LEE ALONNNNNNNEEEEEE!!!! But actually if you hanged about the polls here, Sheryl won the popular vote by a landslide. If anything I don't see much Ranka supporters amongst english speaking fans. Regarding Sentai team : I think the true intention was for Skull Squadron to be depicted as a true special forces unit where each member works in unison to complete mission objectives. We sort of see this in episodes 2 and 3 where Michel takes firing position while Ozma goes hand 2 hand....while Luca....Luca does nothing.....most of the time. I think this idea had so much potential and it was wasted that they didn't used it well. Imagine if Skull Squadron is sent to operate behind enemy lines, Michel snipes from a distance confusing enemy ranks, Luca does his electronic warfare by doing jamming or whatever and Alto is the frontliner. Ozma leads the team and is the heavy weapons guy, buying time for the Frontier to escape or whatever. Sadly we don't even see Ozma doing much of a leading role except yelling "Planet Dance" and "Totsugeki Love Heart" and everyone splits from formation and does their own thing. Its sad really.

LOL...the yellow made me think it was a power loader from Aliens. Hope they make the colour same as the Tomahawk in the final release. The Defender is my favourite Destroid.

Bandai 1/60 DX VF-25 transformable toy thread
wolfx replied to David Hingtgen's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Or rather the only rendition of the 1/60 VF-25. And its bad. Nope...i think it looks flattened on the toy. The model....doesn't look too bad. Agreed on all points. The damn thing isn't fixed at all from the prototype pics. Comparison shots: (thx to evanrue of lowyat forums) From left to right: Bandai Model, Art, Bandai Toy The toy obviously has alot of proportions issues. To those who think its awesome and looks better in the final pics, good for you. I for one am very disappointed. -

Bandai 1/60 DX VF-25 transformable toy thread
wolfx replied to David Hingtgen's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Urgh....nothing's improved. Sigh....guess i'll just get the Ozma and be done with it. The high crotch is still a disappointment. -
Its really easy to use. Its just like MSN and has game channels for many games. I suppose they'll make a Ace Frontier one when the game comes out otherwise we just share our xlinkai IDs or something. Don't go with the router solution. Buy a wi-fi adapter, plug it into your USB and you're set. Use the GW-US54MINI2G for guranteed and hassle free connectivity. More info here: http://www.planex.net/support/xlink/index.html Works with all known consoles like PS3, Wii and Xbox360 too!

Mobile Suit Gundam 00 - >>Season 2 + Movie<<
wolfx replied to Chief Guld Goa Bowman's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Louisse looks likes a guy and feels like a Stellar v2.0. (god pls not like stellar....) And your screenshot made me realise that the federation now has GN drive space cruisers 0.o;; (if those sparkly yellow things are GN particles) The tech-leap in Gundam universe is really rapid and fast. -
Probably has to do with Fabulous having a much larger encode.... which I personally out of own principle do not download nor keep HD files. Anyway updated till ep 11. So far so good. We see abit of Raigo's past...when he got rescued by a the child, Nakiami. Nakiami leaves the Zanbani and she shares a tender moment with Ishu. I was glad Ahm didn't kick the bucket yet. Kinda got me worried there. Haru still looks cute with short hair and Furuichi finally admitting being a shadow to Akiyuki makes me sympathise with him abit....but he's still a jerk.

You made my day.... It will certainly be "YUCKKKKKKK DE KALCHAAAA!!" *proceeds to orbital bombardment of earth then ram it against the sun*

Mobile Suit Gundam 00 - >>Season 2 + Movie<<
wolfx replied to Chief Guld Goa Bowman's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Someone on another thread mentioned it is supposed to be "ARROWS". Not sure if its true or not. And as for the montage, yeah i kinda realised that later...Chris was in it too. XD -
Wow thread necromancy! Let's see, i'll say that Macross has stood the test of the time as one of the pioneers to mecha anime that remains timeless as to this day. Frontier brought a whole new generation of fans and we can see from the new members who joined alot are newbs to the macross universe but went and watch the old stuff after coming to know about Frontier. As for the topic Vs. Other Popular Anime....Macross is still something very cult-status but I'm not sure if Frontier will carry it to new heights.

Summary of all SDFM/DYRL references in Macross Frontier
wolfx replied to dreamweaver13's topic in Movies and TV Series
Of all the references i would've love to see but didn't get was battroid mode shooting down missiles. Guess no one can be as good as Max or Roy. To add to this, the guy later screams a "death scream" very like Kakizaki but instead it was revealed he was actually gawking at Sheryl. Rickroll. -

Or maybe reading consistently the macross frontier manga might help since it has added scenes not shown in the anime. -
Bandai 1/72 Scale Macross Frontier Plastic Models
wolfx replied to Graham's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
use Mr Cement Deluxe. It melts the plastic slightly so when you put 2 of them parts together and dries, they're permanently stuck tight. Works well only on 100% flat surfaces though.....on uneven surfaces, its pretty damn useless.
