  1. Basically anything u see out now has subs since its taken from PSN. And i dun think u can turn the subs off.
  2. At least that explains why Guld was still concious when his eyeballs went popping while his skull and body were getting crushed.
  3. LOL....you hypocritical ppl who want fansubs AND licensing at the same time but only after a series ends, crack me up.
  4. There should be a seat otherwise the butt will not have anything to rest on. But that's besides the point.
  5. Even so.... we're not talking about blood flow to brain G-LOC kinda situations. I'm talking about literally turning into mush. No muscle suit is gonna help you with that.
  6. I meant to say "real science in fiction". But yeah that's pretty oxymoronic. Do let me know what that book of yours explained about inertia cancelling. I'm quite interested.
  7. Oh and lets not forget that the ex-gear becomes into a "seat" when deployed in the VF-25. The pilot isn't even WEARING it. So even if it offers G protection like some believe it to have, it has to be by some advanced "magical" overtech since the pilot isn't even wearing the ex-gear. Thus I think the statement was just a "hypothetical analogy" for purposes of comparison since a pilot can't "wear" an ex-gear while piloting the VF-25 anyway.
  8. Redundant statement that ex-gear does nothing in protecting from G's at all? I think the statement was to compare between an ex-geared human vs a cyborg in terms of resistance to G's, NOT the ex-gear's resistance to Gs since an Ex-Geared human is supposed to make them equivalent in terms of strength and speed to a cyborg. I mean look at it logically, an Ex-Gear isn't even an exo-armour. Its just an exo suit. And EVEN if its an exo-armour, like i said in my analogy, you could wear armour made of lead, gundamrium, SWAG and what have you, but you'll still be mush inside it. We don't even know what the ICS is at this point. If it is indeed an "Inertia Control System" it sounds more like a limiter rather than a dampener/canceller. And the point of the argument was the stats (if true) because the VF-25/27 clearly outperforms its predecessor the VF-19/22...and even those had some crazy G's on the pilots. For those stats to be true, then the ICS has to be a sort of Inertia Canceller.....which to date has no real sci-fi explanation. (that i'm aware of anyway)
  9. Another Gender bender of Alto-hime!
  10. The suit doesn't factor at all to protection from Gs. You can wear some heavy lead suit but you'll still turn to mush even if the suit survives. That said, the EX-Gears are just a control interface and a handy ejection seat.
  11. Or its just Kawamori doing some crazy maths. The stress on the pilot set by the YF-19 and 21 (without limits) was already fatal, I don't see how these supposed new thrust numbers will not turn you into "Guld-mush" the minute you pull the throttle. Unless those "Inertia Converter Store" things are actually inertia cancellers (*groan*)
  12. Long stretch here but Descolada virus = V-type virus? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Descolada#Descolada At least "form of communication" is there.
  13. So that's what the afterlife looks like.
  14. Met him two years ago at Wonderfest. Shook his wet sweaty palms. Stormtrooper at a japanese event is quite hard to miss.
  15. Nooo why ALI PROJECT? Why is the animation industry giving them more money? Well at least the characters don't look like Gundam Seed clones.
  16. Enjoy it, sharky. The later books though i think are an acquired taste. Though I like the intra species interaction set up by Card.
  17. I started reading this book, Ciaphas Cain, Hero Of the Imperium. Pretty hilarious. Its like reading about Dr House + Captain Tylor in the Warhammer 40k Universe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ciaphas_Cain
  18. Looks inspired by the VF-25 with an F-16. I don't agree to it being called a VF-32 though. Looks like a step backwards rather forwards. Props for effort. And i love the gunpod design.
  19. he was shown the evils of the spiral race and tempted by the Anti-spirals, the one part that Simon passed where he failed. Poor guy has been through alot. It was kinda cute though seeing chibi Genome with all his animal friends on the spiral shaped playground. And his future throne on teppelin is the same shape too.
  20. You know what? I'll say the same thing I said for Nunally and Michel. She's not dead. You just wait. She's mcguyver after all! The scene where C.C was comforting Lulu was kinda heartwarming....made me "Awwwww...she's trying to be nice". Lelouch lying to his sister was kinda sad. It feels like Schneizel and Lelouch are fighting for rights to say the final "Keikakuu Doori". It will probably end with Schneizel losing and he'll say "i meant to lose all along, and i did all this so you won't be the bearer of humanity's sins. I hate Britannia and everything it stands for that's why i blew up pendragon. *coughs blood* Live on Lelouch.....and may this world be better for you and Nunally *dies*" ....... damn Sunrise has to hire me....i think i meet their writing criteria.
  21. The missile warheads contain fold quartz fragments....luca did not specifically say they were the MDEs but everyone seems to think so. Also the explosions don't look any different from conventional missiles and they look like they blow up the same as conventional missiles.
  22. I always loved the armored gerwalk....and someone whose name i already forgotten on this forums was working on the scratchbuilt for the 1/48 for years but has not seen the light of day.
  23. Shows how incompetent sheryl is with making paper planes cuz that design doesn't glide as well as Ranka's/Alto's. Figures.
  24. if its anything like GBU, all the missions will be seperated by timeline and valkyries have to be unlocked as you complete more missions. Pilots are unlocked by getting A or S rank on various missions.
  25. This is GARrest Ozma.
