Sea blue is basically the same color as insignia blue. Ever so slightly greyer IMHO. But they are very close.

Bumping just so it doesn't get TOO lost. Also---I really wish they'd use this for Frontal's theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4Tz5ILOf3o&feature=BFa&list=PLE44CEA7189050CE7

All Things Videogame Related: EXTREME VS!!
David Hingtgen replied to Keith's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Putting this here because it doesn't have nearly as many views as it deserves: Yes, there's a lot of FF7 covers/remakes out there. Trust me, this is the best of the best. And if you think it's merely "meh" after the first minute, skip to about 2:50.- 6945 replies

Just going off the pic he posted above---that's a quite bluish black in that lighting. Bandai has always had "off" plastic colors---their white is never "pure" nor are their blacks---they love to use "very dark blue" plastic in nearly every Gundam they make. They tend to use green-white or purple-white for "white".

Russian plane landing on a Russian carrier---China should be so proud. (that's the Varyag with new paint etc) Yes, this is the result of the infamous "Chinese travel agency bought the hulk to turn it into a floating casino" incident. Maybe next a "Chinese toy company" will try to buy an F-117 hulk for "making scale models".... -
You might want to try 35044 "Insignia Blue". (that blue is so dark that even in the summer sun, most people will swear it's black)

Eh, they often put Tomcats and Hornets aboard that way, too. -
The entire history of the F-14B/D is a good example of "interim" changes etc becoming permanent, and some important advancements not being ready while the rest of the airframe is, leading to weird hybrids etc.

I think everything's in the instructions, just easy to miss. Like the flippable seats on the sides of Prime's trailer. Though I do think the gun and axe trailer storage locations are undocumented.- 17344 replies

Clear-clear, or like clear-green or something? Are they ret-conning it to be quasi-Unicorn-ish?

I think about 50% of people forget that one step in transforming to truck mode: flipping down the panels from the arm to fill in the fenders behind the front wheels.- 17344 replies

Eh, the SR-71 never fired a shot in its entire career. Look up "nuclear deterrence" for a big part of the F-22's role. Similar idea as boomers. Very complex, very expensive, and likely may never actually be used for combat. -

Real=awesome. Few and far between though. Seems the opposite is more common---making exaggerated versions of more realistic characters.

Close, but not quite---the yellow-striped-canard variant is just that much better: It's my most-wanted VF-11 of all. A minor change, but it especially makes battroid mode a bit more colorful/interesting.

BURN-E was home release only. However---does it work by itself, without having seen the main movie and already knowing the characters?
-
I only have Grace's version, and since they were never seen on-screen at all on a green one (the green ones were only in the movies for about 0.5 secs in the background) I wonder if even Bandai would do a recolor for a non-canon version.

Hollywood sure does love Langley AFB's "FF" tailcode. I think every plane in every Marvel movie ever has had it---and now this. (though it's more like a "shouldercode")- 180 replies
