Now that you mentioned it, yea i thk the bandai kit was mentioned as 1/200. Perhaps it looks larger than usual because its a 31 not a VF-1. Hmm the tomy 31 would be a nice size then, something a bit smaller than a HMR VF-1 perhaps...

Ah yes, the bandai annuncement. Who knows bandai may just pull a good fighter mode too out of its delta bag this time! But yes, Hase rules fighter mode. Yup its already on preorder cheap and I was expecting gashapon like quality. Realise Its just a sample and its not a closeup shot, but from the pic it looked quite nicely painted! I have no doubt tho the tomy version would be better, esp with decals and the panel line details. Now its down to waiting for more news/pics on the tomy 31's!

Really that tight? Ankle joint was also real real tight on my 0A but even pressure eventually extended the foot. This may be a long shot, but perhaps try extending the foot with your landing gear deployed? Cos the gear cant be retracted unless the foot is recessed, so perhaps the reverse may help somewhat. btw is this the same noel? hahaha that doesnt look like minmay...

If they did detachable and moving turrets that would definately be icing on the cake. Looking at the past Gimix lines yes they look real good. Definately count on Bandai and hasegawa to get involved in the delta line. They would have to maintain market presence! thats what i said abt HMR regults....and now after watching the reviews on it....troop building is a badword for my wallet! Bandai did tease the 31 too...that got my curiosity a bit cos the colors look quite nice and detailed...... although looking at the cockpit its not clear glass...

Not an issue for the gunpod. If you want an anime accurate version with no UNspacey markings, worse come to worse just paint over it. Am so excited to see how these VF's stacks up with my HMR baddies tho!

Nice review charles! Thanks for the showing the glowing eye with the phone flash! Now am thinking of getting any LED unit and popping the LED in the cockpit for the glowing eye effect! the monster is also really getting to me! resistance is indeed very difficult!

Or scale the HMR regult with tomytec 1/144 VF-1's Whats nicer is in the cockpit! if you mean the transparent stands...yes its included.

woohoo! The hype is real!!! Thats a nice cockpit in the hi-metal regult! more product pics at http://tamashii.jp/akiba_sr/?p=1184 It has hip joints that can be pulled apart for more dynamic poses.. feet hold pose looks real cool! The feet have diecast for stability.... awesome!

Some info from the HS description.. This suit, is launched in the renewed package and PC material [Renewal Ver.]. Not too sure what that entails though...maybe more will come out in the release reviews... -

Anyone anticipating the 1/144 delta line? What are your expectations from tomytec, or delta valks in this scale or how far would you invest in this scale..... 1. It didnt occur to me before but looking at the mock-ups of the VF31, the turrent seems to be molded seperately in fighter mode. Whether that means the back turret can detach or not is debatable i guess..(I thk not cos they dont do those things in this scale..or do they?) 2. Looking at battroid lineart, the overhead turrets looks quite detailed. Whether or not they can reproduce it remains to be seen... 3. A SV draken at this scale?

Probably leaving the stickers off the gunpod would be the safest way to go..then it free's up the sticker for something else The 1A head looks more 'unrecessed', so i think its just a matter of adjusting the neck and head positioning. Would really be interested to see how much detail they can pack into the VF31's. I cant imagine any moving turret parts tho, else would it be an insta-buy? Probably will be discussed in another thread of its own for the tomytec VF31...
