Well it certainly will be an 'insight' on how much mark up they will apply for tampo processes. Btw i hope they mean tampo in the sense that it's not stickered on your behalf, so that it looks more realistic printed on the valk body. I wouldn't want to pay premium if it's just merely someone else sticking it for u. Its also more attractive if the premium finish meant having extra markings than the regular. Else might as well get the regular version and DIY!

I know its probably due to the camera but inner man child just went gaga over the perceived chunkiness! And also imagining it weathered!! Is it possible to weather your HMR toys? Love it!!

There is also the discussion of pre-allocation ratio's of DXes only for retailer's who are able to carry a high percentage of other bandai stock. Not many on-line retailers are able to fullfill that other stock requirement i suspect.

Artificial scarcity(?) or typical macross fanbase acting out their deculture... Either way i dont thk bandai loses any sleep over us scrambling for their valks... if only a certain "company" were to rescind their distribution hold on the global macross license, that may be a different story altogether...

I think its gonna be hard for them to compete with bandai, given that bandai is producing cheaper and newer valks from the delta series. Bandai has already has 3 DX delta valks which have all sold out at pre-order, plus their price point on the HMR's isnt even in arcadia's category. Since bandai DX'es arent cheap either, that's less money available to harvest from the macross fan pool... I wouldnt say arcadia is finished, but they will have to rely on other toys like the garland for example to keep em a float...

Arcadia is lying low and producing star valks as bandai is riding the delta hypewave and creating waves of their own with HMR...

I hear ya, just keep an eye out for release dates for opportunities to catch em again. If you like the design,there would be remaining 3 variants that is yet to be released. Suspect those might be easier to get since there 'might' be 31 valk burnout after many releases. On which is better, they are both great and cant reveal more as it might spoil your enjoyment of delta. If you havent seen delta, objectively then its a toss up of if u like an emblem or not on the fuselage of your valk, the colors and the head design. hope you get to catch one....

Thats enjoying the fruits of your labour! I agree with you that the gerwalk mode looks nice without the wings rotated. Certainly looks more menancing and sleek from the back....

There is an option in cdjapan where you can store your cc info, so you dont need to re-type when ordering. However any verification steps in the process of ordering may vary bank/country wise..

Arad's 31A can be used to re-ignite waning interest or milk the very last drop of the 31 mold, hence i think a future exclusive would be the way to go. There may not b as much demand for the regular 31A either, if arad's 31A were to be released earlier. But the bottom line, we also wont know if Arad's 31A even is on bandai's release list, or dare i say it the 31A for that matter.

Since keith's 262 and messer's 31 are a month apart, there might be a July 262Ba release, followed by a Aug 31 release. That was where i was speculating this could be a valk bonanza year!

My speculations on release.... August '17 - arad Dec '17 - mirage April '18 - chuck August '18 - 31A Dec '18 - Hayate's reaper valk! April '19 - Arad's 31A skull leader valk? unless bandai wants to diverse into another series. dat yf-19 DX bandai?? btw; this year may be a valk bonanza, already the 262 is coming out a month b4 messer's 31. COUNT 2 DX releases, MARCH/APRIL. This year alone, we may get 6 bandai DX valks... Mm not too sure abt the official materials, but normally DX releases mirror whats been shown in the series, so thats my only concern that DX 31A may come with the default chargers. Really happy if they dont...

Maybe i m used to looking at an armored pack more akin to accompanying firepower with the armor like the GBP, RA, VF25 armored versions. To me delta valk's seem akin to fast /super(?) packs..Its a love-hate relationship on the add-on packs esp on the 31 fighter mode. Battroid mode is beefier tho and i thk battroid complements the souped up 262's battroids with their packs.. still i would like for kawamori-san to have tried designing packs with more firepower..Maybe the all dancing valk was in his mind, but even that didnt quite materialise...

Yea that's as per the model kit releases. Am skipping arad tho, other valks grew on me as delta went on. The major beef i still have was the absence of any armor pack, was hoping it to be added to arad's valk. Arad, Mirage and chuck "should" be easier to get, for those who dont want to pursue pre-order madness, if only for the realisation its almost the same valk but only with a different paintjob/head.. From my point of view tho, i can only stretch my $ so far... Gonna need to save for white SV-262's!

I thk my next 31 DX would be chuck and its probably going to be "easy?" to get? I suspect that there will be 31 fatigue by the time it gets to the radome which is normally he last of all to be released...so till then..*Insert eating popcorn pic* Oh yea unless the 31A gets released by which i would have to drop the popcorn... In the series at one of the asteroid episodes, where we first saw the 31A depoyed in gerwalk...i do not remember any missile etc configs...its the same charger pod and there was nothing different in the 31A load-outs......*correct me if am wrong tho...

Hmm some join the mile-high club, we have the F5 club.....*only cos F5 sounds like mile-high and not referencing anything else* Yup am still hitting F5 on ami/HLJ despite getting messer and telling myself not to get multiples yesterday.
