Good point, he is working on another anime as well isn't he? Like graham said, I do hope he still does the mechanical design or at least supervises it. Valk design is like the thread that links all the macross universe together so I hope there isn't any break in it. But being an experienced industry veteran I wouldn't expect him to abandon macross totally, he would know how to provide enough guidance to the teams to ensure a good production, whilst also starting other projects. Looking at how he is welcomed at all macross delta events, one would think he totally enjoys the limelight and even in interviews he expresses sadness at his uncredited efforts in creating the macross universe. At least I find kawamori not as extreme as tomino creating complicated storylines/characters, and have hope that macross would grow well with kawamori's input and experience. -

True but the possibility of railguns used in flight is there, as evidenced by the gun ports behind the canopy. In case the lil drakens get decimated i suppose.

dont forget we had armless gerwalk as sorta a sub-mode...like when the draken shot up the ship's launch hanger bay in episode 1(?)... Ohhh...and dont forget the dirty penguin mode!!

If am not mistaken, in the training episode with the 1EX, messer appears in the end to shoot hayate down, and messer was in a 31F. This is an anniversary scheme and not in delta..

Again, this is why am skeptical abt buying from these KO sellers...50 yuen seems to be booking price, not the final price. Not sure how they will charge later if the product is released..

hehe the 'alternative' messer collecting method I cant imagine getting many HMR messers frankly, the only reason to get maybe one is an option for a messer display theme...

lol i dont think i want to ask what that means... Yea i tot a 1J double laser would suit it better like the double lasers of the 31F... The 1S quad lasers would seem to be more suitable for an arad custom scheme i would think...

It came out of the blue/left field! Joking aside, its the scheme of messer's 31F from macross delta.

Count me in for liking the 31F and 272 head sculpt. I think messer was going more for the insectoid look, more menacing like. And in fact if you look at the head stripe on the fuselage, it shapes the tail end of the grey/white strip of the cockpit area nicely. Then 2 white laser antennae provides a flanking white at the end of the cockpit fuselage. Quite fetching i must say!

The shinigami and cockpit color do look nice. Plus its on the heatshield...but yea why didn't they release the ex's first.. whats next a keith glaug?? looks like messers a hit if the bigwigs chose him instead of hayate to do a cross over ..
