I looked back at my hayate messer combo and noticed there was a slight gap in between the quartz and missile packs. it seems that the Quartz collars are on a hinge which u can adjust how it lies flat or tilted away from the fuselage. I don't recall seeing the 31A collars tilted away from the fuselage tho. Food for thought but am really hoping SPs are interchangeable.

The SP missile collar connectors i refer to are the ones connecting both missile packs together. Its true that the valk "quartz" collars are wider on the 31A than the hero valks, but if the "across the chest" SP connection piece doesn't ride that high to the quartz collars, then hopefully messer's SP parts would fit the 31a too.

That's true, tho a shoulder doesn't seem like something you mis-transform, rather mis-construct? Will chalk it down to a pre-prod model, a first for a HMR display?

Something to try and see, but i don't see the hero 31 SP missile collar connectors riding that high up the chest.

i suppose the base is also included and not just the joint arms? Its not entirely clear translated from the TN page; ■ Set contents · Main body · A set of landing gears · Gunpod · Replacement wrist right and left three each · Small main wing parts for replacement · A complete set of SAP units · Squier drone for SAP × 4 · Complete joint parts for soul STAGE · Replacement Ante Also the shoulder for the arm not holding the gunpod looks off (wrong way installed) in the display. Wonder how they could have made that mistake, since a shoulder is not something you remove and install. Put it down to a pre-prod model i guess.

extended trailer...damm BP is turning out to be one slick movie.. -
made me spit my coffee! but yeah i recall it looking like that in the beginning too with the black stripe and head shape..i must have forgotten abt it! certainly enjoying the insectoid run of macross valks! well for those clamoring for low-visability valks, messer's valk is almost as low-viz with the grey/dark scheme. i would put it in the category of a night fighter low-vis (ala ww2 night fighters).

Was guesstimating the price in the KO toys thread, and F360 brought up similar comparisons with Jap counterparts and the fact that a diecast 1/72 Calwings f-14 was going for abt usd139? Since KC's 1/72 roy is also diecast but transforms it might possibly be abv that range.
