I was thinking, how often would license holders be kept in the loop to vet and ok the schemes used? There would be a licensing division to handle it? Toy makers may want to be creative and such, but I don't thk they can simply release schemes, if the licensors themselves don't allow it. Makes you wonder if the licensors bother to look at what's planned, or perhaps they give lots of leeway when it comes to paint schemes...

The phalanx would be one am waiting for ...those double M letters at the end of the barrels are iconic.

Yes it is as per expected, with red on the outside, similar to the yamcardia's. However sometimes a scene in the anime will be completely opposite...

Whatchagonnado. But the f91 is nice enough to have 2 of em displayed. I take it this should also be lighted as well?

Maybe no one noticed, but the inner thigh on the 19's battroid mode left leg seems to be of a slightky darker shade. Like after an outing at the beach wearing shorts... I just hope it's just lighting playing tricks. The shade on the HMR VT-1 had me spooked a bit on bandai's control of the color process...

Expect NETFC thats for sure!
-
Balanced, in the sense that the kite and NETFC take up a WIDE area on one side, so there is WIDE element on the other side to balance. It doesn't necessary need to be the same size as the kite is a logo and not a font. Flight before Test or vise versa, chalk it down to japanese interpretation. Or maybe NETFC sounds better than NEFTC..... In fact i think the alternative could be base instead of center but that's nit-picking...

Yup, New Edwards in planet Eden was based of the Edwards base on earth...where it had history of developmental and test flights...

I can understand why the lettering is large, which is to achieve visual balance across the wings. So in that regard bold lettering would be a better choice. Its aesthetics i suppose, a bold and loud design choice! Something which i wish the 31S and F emblems on the DX should have been....bigger! Discussing bold tampo reminded me of a certain bike...lol...
-
Correct. maybe m the only one but I like the lettering on the wings! It has an old school vibe to it... Especially in battroid it looks gangster, with lettering hanging on the side.

Yes! Believing but not holding my breath either!

And I don't know if i am the only one that's turned on by that front landing gear! Also, this must be the first valk to have a hollow thrust vector (the heel) Doesnt bother me that much tho. The look of this valk is intoxicating..... GET READY FOLKS! BRING ON THE 21 AND PERHAPS 11 TOO!

Its too soon to say that yet, due to DX releases, schedule is already tied till first quarter next year. But Tamashii nations is the end of next month, there should be more announcements or at least sneak peeks nearer then.

The heat shield wont sit flush to the canopy in battroid mode, but am not sure if bandai will do anything to fix it in the upcoming gilbert release. There is a mod floating around that enables it to sit flush, I wonder if anyone here did that...

That's life. A serious story with a silly plot or sometimes its the other way round back to passionate walkure discussions...- 810 replies

Yeah, so the single cannon will be the one over the shield arm in fighter mode. And the twin cannon would then be over the non-shield arm. Then the bendy would stack the (5 point cannon/missile?) over the twin cannon's. The gunpod handle will then go in between to clip onto the notch in between the forearms. Solved!
-
Nice info graphic Noel! Interesting to see how it turns out. Still not sure how the cannon is supposed to tab in, when fighter mode shows a single tab slot along the black strip, but in battroid the forearm has a slot and two holes along the black strip... ...unless of course the cannon doesn't tab in on the other arm in fighter mode! Hmmm... so you have one side with a loose cannon in fighter mode!

woah... dual wield?! I like the way you think! honestly tho, dont think its possible as the links seem to be going one way, (ie top cannon linked to missile, linked to double cannon.) Since the armaments clamp to the outer side of the right forearm, you would need to customise so that a left forearm can have the same config.
-
cos they be of the brand GUNDAM and Metal Build
-
Yeah maybe there is a tab which the handler was supposed to push in to lock the double cannon in tighter, but didn't. Either that or photoshop to the rescue again! I remember the buzz years back in the forums abt customised arm-cannon's for the 19, so despite how it may fit and all, am not passing up the chance to get this. There is also the "possibility" of retro fitting them to the yamato/arcadia 19, in some form or the other. noel, you aren't trying to piece together a BIB yf-19 with loose pieces are you? Then all you need is a loose bandai 19 Box!

Side view of the arm cannon from ixtl's twitter repost of a Japanese account, on the previous page. looks like the twin cannon compartment is hinged to the middle compartment hanging off the side of the forearm. Seems like there is a small side slot where the twin cannon compartment splits open? Could that be where the gunpod goes in fighter mode? How would this fold away and not block the arms locking away in fighter mode? yikes...hope no photoshop magic in the promo shots.... the opening compartment with hinge looks nice and mechanical tho... *on multiple glances the slot on the side may just be for the connecting hinge to tuck into, if all compartments are folded flat....
