The only way I'd consider Ranka as a lolita would be if Ozma was her love interest. I hardly think Ranka's 12. She is in highschool, after all. Besides, we already know that the Vajra incident involving the 117th research fleet happened 11 years prior to Frontier. If Ranka was only 12, she would have been an infant when the attack occurred and certainly wouldn't be old enough to have a repressed memory of the incident. Add the fact that we see a picture of Ranka as a child at around age 4 or so from before the attack on the research fleet. Unless the writers of Frontier are lying about when just about everything takes place, it's pretty impossible for Ranka to be a 12 year old that's labeled as a 16 year old. Besides, why would the producers even care about what us Yanks think about something that will probably never be released here?

I don't get the pedo/lolita vibe from Ranka, especially considering that she's only a year younger than Alto.

I think the whole contest is unfair in limiting each pilot to the fighter that they used in their respective series. Hikaru would be at a serious disadvantage in an old, outdated VF-1. They should all be given the same fighter to actually make it fair.

I actually like the way the new Maxima looks. I wasn't happy with the way the past two generations looked, so I'm glad that Nissan finally came through with a nice design. Speaking of Nissans, I just bought a slightly used 05 SE-R Spec V last weekend.

That's not uncommon. I may be wrong, but I think that the GT-R has always been speed limited. I've also heard that the new GT-R has a GPS-enabled speed limiter and that the limiter gets turned off if the car is taken to a race track. I don't know if this is actually true or not, though.

I'll admit that I didn't even know the Vulcan existed until I saw the one they had on display in the Royal Air Force Museum in London last year. I was quite impressed, especially when I learned that it's considered a medium bomber. I would have loved to see the restored one on its flight.
