Those were actually not in Engrish, but actually regular English spoken by what sounded to be native speakers. Claudia's birthplace is actually listed as America, so that would make her probably not French. She just happens to have a French last name. Heck, technically Minmay is more Japanese than she is Chinese. If you look at her backgound, her father is only half Chinese/ half Japanese and her mother is fully Japanese. Anyway, sorry to sort of derail the thread.

I disagree. How do you know that the CG artists have no passion for their work. CG still takes a lot of work to produce, and I bet that quite a few programmers/CG artists are just as passionate as the old-fashioned animators.

Reaction weaponry was a lost technology for the Zentraedi. According to the chronology, all of the reaction weapon production plants were destroyed over 300,000 years ago.

I'm with Duke on this one. Beam weapons are not considered reaction weaponry. Until we see the Vajra using missile technology, we don't know if they possess reaction weaponry.

Sadly, I didn't. I was only at the fair for about two hours or so. That Sunday was an extremely busy day for me. I managed to see both the Anime Fair and the X-Japan reunion concert that day.

Yeah, that was me. I wasn't able to make it to the Anime Fair until about two hours after the Macross event, much to my disappointment.

Ah, I never did see the specs of the factory satellite despite owning several Macross books. I wouldn't be surprised if I overlooked them, however.

Did they actually mention the size of the factory satellite? In all my years of watching Macross, I don't recall them ever saying that the factory satellite was larger than the moon. Of course, it doesn't necessarily mean that it isn't.

The standalones do indeed contain all the extras. I saw both versions when I was in Japan last week.
