Very cool! I never bought any of the other Yamato VF-1 toys, so I don't have to worry about buying more of what I already have. I was also really happy to see the Black Selena toy from Nadesico: the prince of darkness in that magazine scan!

Seconding what Vince said about the insurance. Things vary by state. In NJ your rate goes up if your insurance has to pay for the damages. Out of the four accidents that I've been involved in, only one was my fault. My insurance only went up for that accident, not the other three in which the other drivers' insurance had to pay for the repairs.

At some angles, the wings of the VF-25 appear to be fully encased in the armor. To me that armor gives the '25 a very VF-4 feeling.

Angst doesn't really bother me. Over the years of watching anime, I've gotten used to shows having an angsty character. I do think his angst just might have something to do with his effeminate appearance.

If the rest of the series is anything like this, I'll be in heaven! April can't get here fast enough! Like the others have said, the little homages to the other Macross shows is awesome!

You've obviously haven't seen the new Gundam show, have you? The main characters belong to what is definitely what I'd call a private army.

Still shots of the movie scene by scene. Under the shots they include camera, music, sound fx instructions, song lyrics, and dialog. 4. Background images 5. Character design sketches 6. Mecha design sketches 7. Staff interviews and what I'm assuming is other background information.

That Kyrios HCM Pro looks awesome! The Kyrios is definitely my favorite of the 00 Gundams.

I'e been wondering myself if we'll see some kind of humanoid species controlling the bugs. The anime Heroic Age worked just like that with an insect race working for an allied humanoid race.

If Nissan's claims are true, the new GT-R is half a second quicker than that new Aston Martin. If so, then it looks like the 600bhp V-12 engine is a bit of a waste if a turboed v-6 has better acceleration.

Likable/unlikable characters are open to opinion, of course. I like Lockon, and I have to admit, like Allelujah's "bad" personality. I have to admit that I actually have a soft spot for sadistic-villainy types.

Ha, ha. After all these years, you finally discover what Japanese monthly manga mangazines are like in quality? That's why they have the tankoubon editions of manga.

When I initially saw the designs for Nadia way back in '88 or so, I wasn't at all interested in seeing the show. To me, it looked like it was going to be a silly kid's show. I turned out being totally wrong after actually seeing it for the first time. Now, Nadia is one of my favorite shows. I don't think you'll be disappointed, Fort Max.

More poor, neglected, PSP finally got some game loving recently with the purchase of Final Fantasy 1, 2, and tactics. I've owned my PSP since May of 05 and only owned 2 games until last month.

I could never get sick of the VF-1. It's such a classic and iconic design.

The SV-51s look great! My only complaint is with the shallow engine intakes, but it's not major enough to keep me from buying one!

I think you're reading way too much into it. All we see is an electrical discharge coming from one part of the transformation. It's not like the whole fighter is enveloped in an electrical field. Plus, at no point in the VF-25's transformation is anything completely detached from the rest of the machine.
