  1. Filthy! She's a real fixer-upper. By my calculations, it's almost exactly 1:100 scale. It's gonna need a complete disassembly, a thorough cleaning, and a detailed weathering job.
  2. This is the oldest toy I've ever purchased... ...one of the only Star Wars toys I never even saw as a child, actually.
  3. Those studio execs are really cutting it close this time... They've only got a week left to announce the next delay.
  4. Indeed it is. It requires assembly, paint, and at least a hundred separate strands of fiber-optics laid... ...but I'm a little overwhelmed with commissions that need to be completed first. Close the doors, seal the windows, and keep the humans out.
  5. Great job on the Bandai, derex3592. I did similar research for my (roughly) 1:3000 display:
  6. Unfortunately, the show increases his size to a citybot on the scale of Metroplex (!), so Titan Omega scales with your Siege figures about as well as Unicron does. See Prime and 'Bee down there?
  7. What's the point of having figures if you can't fit them inside? The Hot Wheels version is closer to 1:22nd, actually. You can never trust the stated scales with Hot Wheels... Just look at their "1:50" Star Trek ships. Oh, it's much bigger than you think... As sh9000 pointed out earlier, it's actually 1:6 scale.
  8. I don't believe there are a hundred different valkyrie designs, much less a quadrillion... I think you're posting in the wrong forum, kid.
  9. They're just as pathetic as Harmony Gold, really. They're an advertising company living off royalties, creating nothing... and just as HG milks Robotech dry because they've got nothing else left, Big West milks Macross dry because -- you guessed it! -- they've got nothing else left, either. I mean, you don't see anybody lining up to buy Irresponsible Captain Tylor merchandise, do you?
  10. Thanks for the description, MKT. Mospeada Complete Art Works is very comprehensive when it comes to line art; I doubt the Entertainment Archive book would feature anything new there.
  11. I love all of Mike's contributions, but this deserves special commendation.
  12. Geez, am I the only one with the Blu-Rays?
  13. Not all Gall Force fans know that the series began as a series of photo comics in Model Graphix magazine... They were intended to market a series of garage kits that never saw mass-production. Artmic did some truly amazing design work in the '80s.
  14. Have you actually watched it? It's much better than Discovery, and... like, twice as good as Picard, and... I'm damning with faint praise again, aren't I?
  15. Batman vs Spider-Man? DC vs Marvel? Warner Bros. vs Disney? Netflix, what are you doing?
  16. Evolution Toy did a better job than Toynami/Aoshima did.
  17. That sounds like a more apt description of TakaraTomy's Masterpiece figures than any third-party figure I've bought in the last few years... Most of the leading manufacturers are at least on par with HasTak, and some produce consistently higher-quality product than that.
  18. There are few significant differences, but ton of minor variations... To do the Dark Legioss justice, substantial remolding would be necessary.
