    The Emperor is most displeased with your apparent lack of progress. Let's keep those WIP pics coming, guys! Since that bastard GMK made such a gorgeous scratch-built backpack, I no longer found my mods satisfactory... so I had to cut a hole and make a whole new dome for the top: I also added a protruding outer edge to the exhaust cover (front), with the distinctive cut-out that's visible on most of the line art. As suggested earlier, I kit-bashed a bunch of internal pistons and hydraulics using leftover parts from other Hasegawa and Bandai kits... ...although most of the detail won't actually be visible inside the legs. Thanks for the inspiration, guys! It's unconscionable, is what it is. If you can make a set of decals for Skull 11, I definitely want one. I'm having vinyl masks laser-cut for the U.N.Spacy lettering (since white decals aren't gonna work particularly well on a black or gunmetal surface). I'm sure I could provide sets for others as well... on an equally limited basis, of course.

    I was just thinking exactly the same thing. I'm so disappointed that this project has derailed your 1:48 Southern Cross plans that I may actively boycott MAAS Toys (rather than simply ignoring them).

    When RoboCop 2 was still in the early stages of pre-production, Schwarzenegger approached Verhoeven with Total Recall, a project with a much bigger budget (and a much bigger star). I'm sure it was an easy decision for him to do Total Recall instead. Plus, despite being set 200 years in the future, Starship Troopers is as much a sequel to RoboCop as any film could possibly be.

This is known as the Invid Malar: And yes, now that Sentinel has produced two fantastic 1:12 Mospeada figures -- and will be producing at least two more -- I'm sure it's the perfect time for a new Moscato resin kit (since the Southern Cross projects are indefinitely on hold).

    There are significant deco differences on all of them... and of course, they were originally blister-packed in vehicle mode. That's why the new blisters largely obscure the packaging artwork behind them... of which Outback is particularly guilty.

    I put LEDs into my HMR Valkyrie cockpits: Just drilled a hole under the console, large enough to fit the bulb housing inside. Stuck a couple in my HMR Monster cockpit as well.

    Holy hell, that CG rendering is godawful. Every single shape is wrong. Just scrap it all, and start over from scratch. There's nothing salvageable there. My enthusiasm for this project just evaporated.

    Honestly, I don't think SD Valkyries are cute. It's because they lack humanoid features. Gundams have two eyes, Transformers have two eyes, and many have noses and mouths as well -- all recognizably human attributes missing from Valkyrie head designs -- so other robots tend to work better in super-deformed proportions. Valkyrie faces are just too coldly mechanical to be anthropomorphized. In fact, I think that's why the VFGs exist instead. ADV's "Muh-CROSS" dub would suggest otherwise...

    What are you guys talking about? How would a Kitz Concept Veritech toy possibly be preferable to an Arcadia or Bandai Valkyrie? As far as I can tell, the unique 1:72 scale is the only appeal this toy has to offer.
