  1. man that is pretty sweey! anyone know how much the will retail for?
  2. oh gottcha didn't see that.
  3. hey marx how devilishly clever of you to piont that out... i mean really that was so cleaver.. .i bet that took no time at all... because you are so quick and witty... the way you got me back there! response ala Family Guy
  4. fits i would like to say congrats on the launch arm !!! they are awsome! i will try to post pics later sencond... why did toy pay $70 for one? i only paid 35 each for both of mine at twin moons...
  5. sorry it just had to be said... some people on the forum are a bit too whinny... i heard this about that product ...or i have this problem with this toy..what should i buy? god give me a break... i know what some of you are gonna say in response to this ...well the guy just wants to be informed before he buys a $ 100+ toy....bla...bla...bla well i say this , if you aren't prepared to take a gamble every now and then than what is the piont of being alive? anyway buying a yamato isn't much of a gamble they are superior toys i think we can agree and there re-sale value can attest to that!
  6. cut the cry baby crap and buy one! man i really hate these asanine questions somtimes!!!
  7. hi all, i don't wanna be a bad guy...but the guy that started this thread doesn't know what the hell he is talking about he basically homogonized to very diffrent mac movies and i'm still not sure what he is complaning about? ishtar in mac plus? did i miss that memo?...VF's in mac plus? all the fighters in mac plus were prototypes with the designation YF 19, 21. with the acception of the VF-11B. in any event true that macross II: lovers again was not the best movie i ever saw...but man were those valks great. the VF-2SS is perhaps my favoraite design. and i must say that the soundtrack was really good. (music not Dub) and i have to agree with a comment made by another. this thread was really started by a newbie or newbie like IMHO. the only thing that came from this thread was to confuse the hell out of alot of veterans
  8. i went with the more nobel answer and git windu but really i would love to get in the senator's pants!
  9. i have to agree with the comment about the fight scenes. man were those camera angles just horrible or what.!!!
  10. hey whay happened to Jude Law... I have always wanted him to play a bond!
  11. hi, you know like many whenever i heard that opening song i too just listened for a while then quickly changed the channel. i do agree with you about show lossing heart, lossing character. i mean look at what entertains people now for god's sake! people marrying stangers for money, back stabbing one another to get a job, tempation island, who want's to marry a migit( WTF!?) if it were up to me i would napoalm all these crappy shows, with the exception of NYPD blue, ER, and Third watch there are really no good shows anymore. you know never really thought about mash too much, just that it was a very popular show. but the way you have described it makes me feel that there may be more there than i saw as a child. anyway, thanks for your thoughts on the show.
  12. are you kidding me!!! that is a great deal!!! i had to pay over sixty dollars for one at one piont!!!
  13. hey i have checked out the first episode. it was decent enough. but i think i would take the show a little more seriously if they left the whole dawson's creek meets x-men factor out of it! i think that people who have been displaced and brought back to another time and seeing how they can adapt is more than enough to keep the show interesting. i found the scenes between the interacial couple , the african-american who met up with the daughter of the women he was involved with esecially interesting and compelling however those scense are always interupted buy the troubled snoty whiteboy teen with powers ... ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz boring!!!!!!! I understand that it is after all sci-FI, but that aspect of the show is a fresh and new as week old sushi!!! it almost seems that the show has this alter-ego that is really not neccesary. anyway, i think it is ok so far, but the cheese factor is really starting to rise and i may soon lose interest.
  14. when i was younger i used to live in san jose ca and i used to pass everyday after school by this chinese man and his store. i guess is was a semi comic book store ? anyway i always saw the old bandi's which were new then and never could bring myself to buy one. not that i didn't like robotech/macross (depending in which region of the world you live). it's just that i was always into things that look real , or at least, not look like clumsy toys all my friends used to rag on me about it but i was always into things that were just a little above average i guess. in a decade where transforming robots were as common place as steriod endused wanabe rambos at the movie theaters, i just coundn't see myself being entertained by such a crappy looking toy! but i concede...if it was a great buy and you are happy with it and it brings you joy...than more power to ya! but it is still just so dam ugly!!!
  15. why would anyone get excited about a 1/55 bandi clearly inferior to yamato!!! i mean look at them for god's sake! nastalgia can only go so far
  16. i'm sorry,,,,but that was really not worth a thread customs take a liitle effort
  17. hey what the hell????? i am trying to order the arm from toy-wave and when i try to add it to my chat it gives me some crap about " reffering " what's up with that? anyone having the sma e problem?
  18. hello, for some pic s check out the " easier way!" topic that i started . they have all the VF-1A past packs that i have customized.
  19. hey goldenboy, yes my cannon fodder did come with holes already to fit the fast pack. i think i may have been the one that you heard about. personally i think it was a mistake in the manufactureing, as i have found no others like it,,,if anyone out there has one plese tell me. anyway hope that answered you question
  20. for god's sake man!!! grow some balls and just buy one....forget what your wife says!!!
  21. thanks for all the compliments guys!!! i am currently working on the same custom job for my VF-19 A (Game version) as soon as i am done i will try and post some pics... i will also ntry and pu together some kind of step by step with pictures on the next job... but do have to warn you this custom job is not for the faint of heart ...you really have to gut your VF-19....as some one told me before they would not risk it. but the good thing is that after all it looks great ,,,so there was a light at the end of the tunnel.
  22. thanks guys... later this week i am gonna do the same thing to my VF-19 A ( game version) as soon as i get a chance to get more parts i will customize and post some pics...
  23. well, initially I had some issues about gutting my VF-19...but i siad what the hell.!!! i wanted to see if it could be done. abd to be honest it was beginning to bug me that yamato didn't get the gerwalk right... anyway i can always get another. hopfully yamato will get it right with the fastpack version. if it ever comes out..
  24. yes it is extremely stable....that little pin you see is attached to ball joints that are fused so to speak, into the legs and upper fusalage. it is that ball joint that allows for the legs to jet out in any direction. in order to do this you will need to remove some excess plastic that got in the way in the first place making it impossible to get the gerwalk we all saw in the movie. though i have to admit....wieght was an issue....obviously the metal portion of the upper frame is top heavy. so i would not go touching it too much still i don't paly with my valks anyway....so its cool.
  25. well i had to basically gut some parts...but it can still transform into all three modes despite the modifications.
