I have heard of megazone being called robotech the movie. but what in the way of characters or story or mecha makes it part or the same universe ? true i have not seen it...but seems to me that robotech and even macross are two diffrent spiecies... could anyone please educate me if i am totally and utterly way of with this question?

OMG!!!! i thought that Turbo Teen was a repressed childhood memory i had deep in my sub-counscious. but looking at that creepy ass kits it has all come back to me!!! i have a very vivid memory of the sick and twisted morphing sequences in the show... you know how every childrens cartoon hires a child phychologist consultant to make sure that the cartoon doen't makes serial killers in training...well i think the consultant really dropped the ball on that show. i remember that turbo teen would either have to be doused with cold or hot water for him to morph. what the hell is up wthi that!!!!? perhaps they really should have hired a science advisor because....oh that's right! if they had there would have been no show at all!!!!

i would have to say that the VF-1D that you bought is definately a lemon! i have about six of them and none of them have the floppiness problem. what i suggest is that you check the pegs on the legs and see if they are worn out. if so you probably bought one by one of these silly collectors that plays with his toys as though he were a child. first the price seems really suspect. you should try to buy from those who display not play!!!!

if that is the future of the 1/48's i will be disapionted... i'm not a big fan of these limited additions things ...i would prefer and cannon fodder much better and maybe a diffrent color scheme for the fast packs.... what would you guys think of a subtle tone of black or grey for the new color????

man i thought i was the only one of my freinds who wondered why there was no wreckage of the plane? but i suspose in this political climate, anyone asking too many questions about what exactly happened. ( other than it was terrorist) would be hailed as heretics and traders to this country. but if you ask me... i have never trusted any "official" anything when it comes to matters deemed in the intereste of national security. all that means in my opinion is that the US will not tell the complete truth about anything because : A- they have done something they should not have B- they would incriminate themselves before the world community C-the control of information is power and an effective way of maintaining the status quo. if something did happen other than the offical senario we will not know it for some time because everyone has such a hard-on for being patriotic and terroist bashing. but honestly, people don't just wake up one morning and decide they wanna commit acts of terror. nothing is ever that black and white...EVER! i think that one question that are emotional reactions to what happened on sept. !! is not allowing us as a nations to ask, is what have we done, or what have our foriegn policies done to this region of the world to turn once US funded allies ( musha ha din) into now crusaders agains this country? as a degreed historian and political science analyst, it is my duty to remain objective. however; nobody ever wants to discuss this question, for what ever reason. this is a quesion that must be addressed! if we don't allow our selves to ask this burning question we will never fully understand why 3000 americans died that morning. just in case, i am not talking sides here....i am on the side i'm always on, my own.

yes ...yes...yes!!! we all know what was wrong with macross II we have talked about it to death personally i think it was pretty decent and i like the fact the the main valk ace was a female. but there is one thing that we can all agree on the VF-2SS is by far the best looking valk... i would trade all my valks in if Yamato would make a 1/48 of that baby!!!!!

your line up looks really nice... well i have a couple DX 1/60 scale toys 12 inches tall if you decise to get the wing O. wich i really recommend you do the Dx toys will make your line up look good with the new wing-o you buy. anyway let me know i can sell them relatively cheap

yeah i quess i did kinda make things confusing... never the less that is the correct chronology... so please forgive me guys...but my first intro to macross was Robotech...i'm not sure if that is good or bad..? and yes i would consult the links given for specifics on macross only. and Graham!!! have a cow man!!!! sorry, but like it or not people did grow up on Robotech.

actually if i remember correctly the zentradi were sent to find Zor's battle ship SDF1 or the macross depedning on what version you see Japanese or American. also it wasn't reactive weapons they were worried about ...Exadore( again depending on which version you are watching) tells breeti that " the micronians have reflex weaponry"... which if i remeber from the american version was the source of robotechnology also they want the ship back because ( not known to the humans) somewhere in the bowels of the ship is the Protoculture matrix. now according to the american version this matrix tranfers the Invid flower of life ( source of prodocultre ) into some kind of energy responsible for there genetic manipulation as well as powering there mecha. also the Zentradi were sent by the robotech masters to recover the ship. but again American version. I actually have a very old very valuable comic book that gives the complete chronology of the american version that spands all three generaions until the finale. hope that helped and welcome

well, i for one don't play with my yamato's(that is just silly) so i could care less about perfect transfomation as long as the sculp looks great and i think this one does...

the movie looks really good...!!!! but i know what is gonna happen with audiences...as clueless as they are these days about the history of pop-culture or history in general! i hope they realize that this movie is a tribute, so to speak ,to the movie serials of the 1930' and early 40's. in any event those who know what's up will get it...those who don't won't.
