VF-19 pilot!!!

your first mistake was paying $150 for a takatoku VF-1J, ... <_< for god's sake go get a yamato!!!!!

I, personally agree with the swap option....i don't play with these things, <_< i just love the way they look when displayed. so if yamato will go with the swap option and make the VF-19FP look more sleek than its predecessor ......as it should be <_< i'm all for it!!!!!!!!!!!!

that valk looks great dosen't it!!!! i was wondering if they were going to produce it myself.... along with the vf-5000s and the best looking valk in my opinion ..the beautiful VF-2SS

man i am really hoping yamato get's over the MAC-o soon and get to the VF-2SS

well personally, i really like the sculpt of Yamato.....and this debate over 1/48's and 1/60's is really silly... if you are a real collector... you know that you need to collect everything in whatever scale.... these guys that decide not to buy one valk and choose to get another ...???? to me that means that you have a collection that is clumsy and miss-macthed, and hastly put together....that is really tacky in my opinion. <_< what i have done is collected both scales 1/60's and 1/48's and i have displayed them in all three modes .... that is wilh fast pack's and non-fast packs.... so it is about six pieces for every valk. as for the bandi's and the old toka valks, well just look at them. i didn't like them as a kid...because they didn't look right to me...and now....when you compare them to yamatos they are just laughable.... nastalgia is one thing....but man they are just ugly!

the custom job looks great!! but i still can't get exsited about a bandi 1/55 <_< even in there prime (80's) i still thought they look kinda bulky... unlike the yamato's

hello all, this may be a bit off beat and a liitle morbid but if i had a squadron of zentradi power suits i would send my squadron to eliminate........ everyone who has ever been on a reality TV show!!!!! as well as the executives and the producers of this crappy programing...! take them all out I say!!!! From survivor...... to temptation island; to the bacholer and especially joe millionare!!!!!!! or any other bone head out there!!!! anyway enough of my rant.... what woud you guys do with a squadron???????

thanks for the interest guys well, oddly enough 2 of my CF brownie's actually had the slots for the fast pack....the best i can say is that they were a manufacture's mistake or something because non of the others have them... the holes on the legs are standard on the TRU( japanese) version.. but they have no slot's for the busters. as for the the triple cluster trick? well, its no trick guys, just a little super glue... don't they look great like that??????!!!!!! i recomend that you guys try it ....i'm sure you will love the way they look....!!!!!!!

hello all, I caught this on the long awaited semi-update MW home page...well at least the picture changed ..but nothing really new! <_< "Picking up my new Scanner this weekend(mine died a few months ago). Have a Gigantic update coming during the week of Christmas-you will not be disappointed!!" could this be the news we have all been waiting For?

Just saw the first two installments of BSG ....and all I can say is: What a "Frakin" great blend of wondeful acting, superb story telling. and excellent CG!!!.... the new version of BSG stays true to the original series while adding a new spin, and in my opion; " is able to hold its own"!!! ok MW'ers what do you think? PS: starbuck is a hottie!!!! sounds wierd but what can I say ...she is!!!

sure..... it is so low-tech you guys will not believe me! here goes , 1. get a fine tip permanent marker and use it to fill in the natural grove lines. (best if done section by section) then with your finger rub over the panel lines ( this will have a dual effect) 1. it will only remove the excess permanent marker from the surface area leaving the actual lines stained black with that sleek look i have. 2. it will also create that weathering affect that makes the valk look more real as if it has been in battle... to finish up , get some ordinary windex and cloth(clean) and give it a coat or two... (note these steps must be done right after each other)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 and remeber one section at a time !!!!!!! well there you have it guys quick and easy no real fuss , except that your arms will feel like you were lifting water buckets all day...but it is hell-of-woth it!!!!!

magnus, not only should you buy one!!!!! you should buy the entire collection !!!! and get mutiples of each to display them in all modes ... trust me they look great and well worth the price that is paid!!! i always hear people saying that they will wait for one yamato to come out over another? what's up with that? are you guys not try to get a collection going? or are you just buying one yamato and thai is it?

jesus christ gentlemen!!!!!! just by both scales!!!!! we all love macross no matter what the scale..... make a complete collection and get whatever is produced if you like it.... there is no need for this bickering!!!!

DRClay i completely agree with you , i just can't see how an adult can be stimulated by that kind of silly display...but i have made my peace with it and so their are those who play...... however, there should be a progression on how we view things as we mature right? even toys in my opinion bandi and the old valks are for those who what to play and they are correct ...they are just toys Yamato on the other hand is for the more mature and sophisticated collector... that is all

wow, what a place to take a stand! on wether or not you play with your toys!? look guys play with them if you want that's cool! I can see that you are very passionate about it and that i can always respect....i just didn't think grown people really did that kinda thing i am a collector but i just can see myself playing with them...i like them because of there design and inginuity....to me they are more like works of art than toys so i treat them as such... similarly, when i have women over they are impressed with the the manner and delicate way in which i display my pieces... as well as showing passion for something... i don't however take them out and play with her! that is just silly... i guess it has to do with the level of sophistication as a collector anyway my goal here is accomplshed, i wanted to start a little contraversy and clearly got it...but i do have alot of respect for you guys who collect , play and all... and hopefully you don't take my comments too seriously... i hope that some of you with the old valks may post some pics of your collections ...i may just get a better appreciation of them

Playing with them!? who plays with these things? i think we may be taking the nastalgia thing a bit too far? please tell me that you guys only display these valks...if not to preserve them ...then well, beacuse grown people playing with toys is just plain wierd!!!!!! collect but don't play!
