That sounds like the best plan. Based on the photo of TT Inferno holding TT Red Alert, and some reference photos of TT Ironhide holding Red Alert, I think TT Inferno will be shorter then Backdraft. Which means TT Grapple should be shorter then Backdraft as well, which in my opinion would work better for him then Inferno, I always pictured Grapple as shorter and more squat.- 17320 replies

MP Inferno actually looks much better in color, that grey proto-type didn't look very good. Damn, I'm on the fence now, Backdraft was supposedly releasing soon, and he still looks fantastic, but Takara has actually impressed me with these new pictures of official Inferno.- 17320 replies

Yeah after half size Rex being amazing, I felt Ray was a let down, his legs and lightning suck quite a bit, I actually sold him and decided to hold onto just Rex. Agree with Ultron too, Bandai put their C or D team on him, a lot of inexcusable mistakes and compromises, his shoulders in particular are hot garbage, and his stupid robo butt cheeks hinder his legs. Due to some pics you actually posted a week or two back I've got two new figures on the way to make up for some of this halls disappointments, Riobot Jehuty and Anubis... -

Oh boy, oh boy, Xcom 2 is finally coming to consoles in September, now I can finally have a go at it! I loved the first and played it and the very excellent expansions on my 360 to near death, this is very good news. http://kotaku.com/xcom-2-coming-to-consoles-in-september-1781017148- 6944 replies

I saw it with a group of friends Saturday, it was a ton of fun, Shredder and The Foot were improved, there was less human stuff overall, and Bebop and Rocksteady didn't disappoint. I loved it, and I want a third, it was like a literal live action take on an episode of the original cartoon series, which was incredibly stupid, so it was a faithful adaptation of that in my opinion. What do you mean by closer to the source material? Do you mean the original Eastman and Laird stuff? Because you should know that's never, ever going to happen. The Turtles are now owned by Nick, everything Turtles now needs to be acceptable for children, aka their target audience, gritty Eastman Turtles would be a flop, and I have little confidence anyone could pull it off anyway.

Got some goodies in finally too, was really waiting on this box. Mace WIndu's head sculpt is pretty damn fantastic, probably the best in Figuarts history, it looks good. Ultron Prime is a bit disappointing, but I hate Revoltechs, so easy pass on the Ultron Revo, I've got all the Figuarts Marvel stuff so far, not stopping now. The Hi-Metal R Glaug is pretty much EXACTLY what I wanted, it is pretty damn perfect. But the highlight is definitely the Robot Spirits ANIME figures, these things are filled with some very clever engineering for their size and price, I'm incredibly impressed. -
Yeesh, that unmasked Steve head looks WAY too big, and it still looks quite derpy to me.

Still can't wait, going this weekend, it looks like a ton of fun. I thoroughly enjoyed the first too, despite how stupid it was, I could give two frakks less about RT or Metacritic scores. It's weird, I absolutely hate the Transformers films, and these are nearly the same type of film but with a Ninja Turtles color scheme. Maybe it's just the right kind of crazy and stupid that fits the turtles better then the Cons and Bots, don't know, but KRANG!!!

I got mine last night within 5 minutes of pre-orders opening on HLJ, also got my Robot Damashii ANIME Z'Gok, Patlabor Unit 1 Alphonse, and Figuarts Vegeta V2. Good night altogether, nice and easy.

Zero Suit Samus is brand new, she's never had a Figma. But it does appear they're re-releasing the armored figure again, for like the fifth time, I really don't know who doesn't have one at this point that wanted one, same with Figma Link.

I paid for my Glaug earlier from AmiAmi, only got one, I see no reason in two, they're commander/officer units, there shouldn't be a bunch of them on the field at once like Regults. Can't wait for this package, lots of goodies in it, Glaug, three Robot Spirits ANIME Doms, three Robot Spirits ANIME Zakus, and my Figuarts Mace Windu.

That finale was pretty damn fantastic, the big reveal was perfect. Pretty gutsy choice for next season, I'm excited to see how they handle it.

This was great, thank you for the links. Agreed entirely, the soundtrack was phenomenal, it got me so pumped every time I had to slaughter some demons or deal with a gore nest, it was %100 perfect, and %100 metal. I'd say Doom for single player and SnapMap, coop demon hunting with friends in levels YOU build is tons of fun. Also in the future there will be more and more polished user created SnapMap levels to look forward to, I played a coop tower defense with Doom demons that was insanely fun.- 6944 replies

Doom has probably the funnest campaign I've played in months, it was totally worth the $60 asking price alone, I think it's that good. I wrapped up my first run at about 13.5 hours, I still have plenty of secrets and collectibles to find, and I've turned up the difficulty since my Doom Marine is a demon slaying beast now. Haven't tried too much MP, but it has been tweaked since the beta, for the better, and SnapMap seems like it will add a good bit of longevity to co-op stuff without the need for DLC and expansions. Color me impressed, it's violent, fast, and very much Doom.- 6944 replies

You won't regret grabbing Sphinx, PS-01A and BadCube Sunsurge were my first third party figures, both are excellent. PS-01A is selling out quick too like you mentioned, I'm not a Diaclone fan, but the red Liger version will be the only version of that sexy mold available here in a bit...- 17320 replies

The Unlicensed Third Party Transformers Thread

It does, which is totally odd because the rest of it looks pretty bad, seam lines, painted vents and head lights. Funny enough, I prefer Sunsurge's back end, it may look weird and off, but it IS more cartoon/G1 accurate.- 9325 replies

The Unlicensed Third Party Transformers Thread

I can't believe how badly Spinout turned out. I was reading on TFW2005 that Toydojo busted their stock open, then a couple of other pieces, then immediately discounted the figure by $30, they said they felt it wasn't the quality one would expect out of a $100 third party masterpiece figure. I think he looked god awful anyway, even the earlier mold that everyone liked so much before it was apparently changed, but this has gotta suck for those that somehow don't like the BadCube version and were waiting on this guy. At least he's dirt cheap now, maybe he can fixed and tweaked into a decent figure, either way, Toydojo and several other sites are taking a big hit on this turd day one, ouch. In other news, when in the ever merciful frakk is Backdraft coming out? I literally NEED him, Takara's version looks super meh, maybe I'll check out their Grapple so I can have two different molds to mix it up a bit.- 9325 replies

I'm in for anything MP related when it comes to Beast Wars, Beast Wars was my jam. If Takara and third party move in that direction, I'll definitely be a VERY happy camper. There's been so much focus on combiners lately from Takara and third party, which I don't do, so I'd like to see Beast Wars finally get some high-end figure love.- 17320 replies

Like Scyla said, it depends on your preference in aesthetics, I personally have already grabbed two of the FansToys Dinobots. I wasn't going to get any Dinobots at first, but then I grabbed a Soar and then needed the rest, they're damn impressive, if you're just looking for G1 style Masterpiece Dinobots, I don't think you can do any better. I don't think any other company even has Dinobots as big as what FansToys has put out, they're pretty damn amazing, I think everything else is chug/classics-ish scale. Also, BadCube officially put not Swerve and not Gears up for pre-order, I'm grabbing both, at first I told myself I'd never double dip on third party molds like I did official, but I really like both Gears and Swerve, so there you go. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=BAD10011&mode=retail http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=BAD10012&mode=retail- 9325 replies

Meh, I had a bad experience with my MPP-10 for the whole two days I had him. Not only did the box and its contents absolutely wreak of paint, his left leg was still wet with paint! The plastic tray inside the box that he sat in had blue smeared all over it where his leg sat, plus when I simply touched his leg I left a finger print. He was also missing his left thumb, his gun was put together/molded improperly, it couldn't fold up and therefor it couldn't store in his back. Also, the little flaps that finish off the front of the truck mode, the ones that sit behind his back and around the opening compartment for the gun storage, simply were not attached and just popped off. Others mileage may vary, I had heard so many good things about the quality, but I didn't see any of that at all, just remember people, these are still KOs. The first and last KO I will ever buy too, I wasn't impressed in the slightest, gave it to my nephew. I heard the EVA version is coming next, and then that ugly green BAPE or GRAPE version or whatever, I'm staying away. The alt mode does scale better, but that obviously means the bot mode is WAY too big and completely off, I'll stick with MP-10, Takara from the beginning said they are focusing on bot mode scale, I'm a stickler for that more then alt mode scale. The extra die-cast was nice I guess, it certainly had heft, but I've never been a believer that more die-cast means better quality. -
Saban's Power Rangers, in theaters March 24,2017

Because it's just as idiotic and unnecessary as the heels. Phasma didn't have boob armor in Force Awakens, just regular armor, and yet, lo and behold, she still had boobs under the armor. Why on the chest of the women's costumes do they need the armor to follow the curvature of their breasts? I'm 100% positive their boobs could fit into the male ranger's costumes just fine, and I'm also positive they'd be fine without the heels too. I see both complaints as being on the same level of idiot and absurd, they're pretty lame designs no matter how you slice it.- 128 replies

Didn't see this posted yet. I'm very meh on them, they're too busy, and they look like generic sci-fi armor. It looks like the Guyver armor had a baby with a bunch of multi-colored Iron Man armors. Edit: Better picture. Boob Armor? Heels on the girl's suits? At least now I know who to sexualize.- 128 replies
