    vf-1s..

This is some very nice work
  2. Great start indeed, it looks much better than SHE's, love the way you streamlined the cockpit
  3. On the launch ramp dude, nice recolors
  4. Amazed everytime I see this Fuke custom of yours, spedfish! I've got a few of these kits and one of them is awaiting to be turned into a Fuke. I hope I can make it half as good looking as this one. What is the thigh cloth mod on your Sticks? Did you disassemble the boots to replace the cloth and put it inside the boots ? It's one of the only things that bugs me about the Beagle : when the knee is bent too far (if I try to put it into this cool riding pose you've put yours), the cloth is coming out and it's distracting from its overall awesomeness
  5. Look like a promising sequence, I can't wait to see this missile action!
  6. You won't be disappointed Graham, MPC Rand is only goodness as they fixed the main problem with Stick, the disintegrating cloth. Still you should be careful with the cloth's seam at the crotch when you move the legs, it's nowhere as bad as Stick's but just in case. CM's can be very frustrating and the spots shown above in jenius' pics can break everytime you move something but in most cases I've seen with mine they break or are broken from day 1, at least for the male figures. The female figures are much more fragile and I'm more careful when moving these figures' limbs than with their bikes. And thanks for the pics everyone, I especially dig these oldschool figs and models as we don't see these too often lately!
  7. Just be very careful with the knees when you get your Fuke, or any other female ride armor figure. The knee is a very thin piece of plastic and it's very likely to break off the leg if you try to bend it the wrong way. But it might also be damaged out of the box sometimes. I fixed mine which was broken from the start by replacing the broken piece with a similar piece that I picked from a spare Mospeada male soldier figure (not the same piece of the knee which is too thick on male figures, but there's another similar part, I just can't remember which one). Otherwise I llove mine, and it's the best looking Fuke that ever made it to mass-production, I'm sure you'll enjoy it despite its flaws!
  8. You're right, it's a very bizarre coincidence though, spooky!
  9. I agree with the general opinion of the CM's being very fiddling and I totally how most can get frustrated by those but they are just too cool to pass, especially when most shops got rid of them with massive discounts Here's my Mospeada corner, before things went out of control (now it's much much worse) :
  10. Mine had a chip out of the box on the metal of the intake. Luckily this valk is gray so the metal isn't showing too much but I still have to find a way to fix paint chipping on bare metal, damn...
  11. Good one, although it's a bit heavy at times. SO it's inspired by Stephen King's work on Kingdom's Hospital right? I can't remeber seeing the american adaptation (with King playing a role in it apparently), but I remember watching a couple of the Lars Von Triers original version which was quite creepy
  12. I love the current YF-21, so much that I actually got 2 of them, and it's the only valk that I have duplicates of... OK, I found the second with a very nice discount but still . I think Gerwalk looks really cool, the ankles do a great job allowing for an aggressive stance. Battroid is fantastic, lean and weird just like in the anime The only problem I have with this series is with the 22's cockpit not being covered in battroid and the unstowable gunpods but I still can't blame Yamato for doing it the way they did (because fighter mode is perfection)
  13. @Macross_Fanboy : Thanks! The head design is not the thing I'm most proud of but for the prototype it'll do. Anyway I thought of this as a stealth valk that turns into a ninja-like battroid so the "S" type visor should work well when I get to the point of doing some vaiants. But so far the protype still needs to be tested in action (more test flights soon) @>EXO< : Thanks for the support man! and LOL! I've heard so many bad things about TSC that I still haven't mustered up enough courage to watch it! I defintely will though and I'm sure it's not THAT bad anyway @VF-15 : Dude, you can : If you really want , all you have to do is grab a pen and start somewhere in the white page @Ganbare : Thanks a lot, i'm glad you like it! @bigF : Thanks! I'm sure there are more specific tools for creating animated gifs out there on the web but I've draw each frame separetely on a different layer in GIMP2 and then saved it as gif (choose option "export as animated GIF" and set time between frames at 100ms). Let me know when you try it! Thanks for watching!
  14. Thanks a LOT BigF and pfunk! and please excuse my late response here guys, your kindness is much appreciated As I've got a little more time to try new things this weekend I tried to do an animated gif and did somekind of flipbook of a flight scene. It's wonky and showed me how ignorant I am, but the fun of making it still makes me want to share it, so here it is
  15. I played a little with the 25S today so I'll just add more praise for this toy, Bandai did a great job! And the hard plastic lasers look much better, I just had to swap them on Ozma's but maybe Alto's aren't bending out of shape at the slightest touch. Where's Michel's custom already?

    Music Covers?

Very nice cover work, Cuda. Cheers!
  17. Really nice pictures from BAT, his photos are always stunning coolness I'm really glad Bandai added the hard plastic cannons with this release, it was my only gripe against the VF-25 renewal even if they look ok on most pics there's always a slight bend somewhere. I hope they will correct this when they release Alto again, hopefully in a superparts bundle
  18. i got the Aoshimas blue, green and red and none of their hands have crumbled so far. The only problem I've had with one of them is that I stressed the wrist on my green legioss while posing it and it got totally loose. I was able to fix it when I dismantled the toy by putting a piece of silicon on the hand's swivel. I also changed the shoulder gummy friction pieces for some durable and stiff ones, glued it back together and painted it with military green to match my toynami Tread. There's a slight color mismatch though but they still look good together and the Legioss feels like a much better toy
  19. Berserk's Guts should be out this month. If like me you love the series and preordered it, you should be very pleased to read this : http://gscmikatan.wo...ack-knight-ver/

    VF Girls

Here's another VF lady added to the pile of cuteness in this thread
  21. I couldn't make a choice of getting one version over the other and since Mospeada gets so little toy coverage, exception made of the strange resurgence from a couple of years ago now. I just got every CM's and Aoshima I could grab, one of each color and the discounts they were offered at did make it all possible. Aoshima's are great for display in connected fighters while CM's are cool toys on their own. The upgraded CM's is both so this is the one to have for me. My advice is to get them all if you love the show because I just can't see a good reason why another japanese toy company would lose more money on this license (RIP Beagle, Mospeada fans will love you forever) and these are just going to get scarcer as the MPCs will keep on disintegrating over the years.
  22. That head is pure mecha beauty! The paint application on your sample looks great too. I can't wait for mine now, Amiami just shipped it
