    Awesome find. There's also a Evangelion and a Professor Ochanomizu (the creator of Astro Boy) room and one named friggin Dr.Tenma (main character of the Monster manga). That was mindblowing.

    I'm slowly but carefully turning my eldest kid into an otaku to make sure all the goodness is passed on to him. The Macross stuff will be a hard sell though since almost all of it is in Japanese. Before that happens though, my mrs. will probably have forced me to get rid of half my manga collection. LOL... Classic Please before that happens let me sell a kidney and buy half your collection. I'll give them a respectful, dry, smoke and pet free home

    It has to be said that it is increasingly difficult to make an original melody. There are only so many chords which form a finite amount of progressions—there’s bound to be some overlap. And one can be subconsciously influenced more than one imagines. Of course if a certain artist keeps doing it over and over, well then you can get suspicious. Are guys sure there are no writing credits given to the 'original' composers on some of those pieces you mention? I know that at least Pink Floyd is credited in Cowboy Bebop's Boxed Set for 'On The Run' which plays in episode 20 of Cowboy Bebop.

    It still amazes me how many threads can end up being derailed to "Macross 7 sucks" territory.

    Haman in a worst character poll?? She's friggin' awesome and has that cool voice by Yoshiko Sakakibara. Unless of course they're only referring to her part in ZZ as opposed to Zeta.

    That's an amazing looking set. But then again Evangelion deserved something that special.

    I'm extremely tempted. I love Megazone 23, specially the first 2 parts and those extras make this pretty special. But 300 is a lot of green.

    It's mostly Gangsta, Ushio Tora (old school shounen feel) and Prison School (the ecchiest, most scatological series since Hen Zemi), for me this season. I've heard Snow White with Red Hair is good too but unfortunately it's available in my area.

    This season has been pretty disappointing so far (dropped 2/3 of what I started watching), so I've gotten the chance to finally finish Armored Trooper Votoms which had been sitting on my shelf for an eternity. Not a bad series, although the last 'cosmic' arc didn't really fit in IMO. Cosmic stuff like that is best left to Ideon.

    I can understand not wanting the hassle of doing business transactions with overseas (language, currency, customs etc), but what's wrong with deputy services? Is it more of a "keep these jewels in Japan" kind of thing?

    Thanks for the info. I finally got to see the first episode and I was pretty underwhelmed. At least as first episode go, it wasn't as fun as EVOL was. And the whole thing felt a bit..cheap. Maybe all the A team at Satelight is working on Macross BTW, anyone seen Ushio no Tora? Someone took a old manga and decided to do a 90's shounen in 2015 and it's a lot of fun.
