    This last episode of IBO was pure battle goodness. Mikazuki is one of the best Gundam MC's in a in a long time too.

    I'd love to have a crossover between LOGH and Macross 7. Basically Basara shows up while Reinhard is conquering some random planet and drives him mad with a non stop balls to the wall rendition of Planet Dance.

    Oh, Iron Blooded Orphans merits it's own thread now. Very well. It's one very enjoyable series. Gundam is spoiling us right now with both Origin and Iron Blooded Orphans.

    I looooove Yoko Kanno. And I'd be elated if she was doing the music for Delta. But if she doesn't, I'm sure that Kawamori found someone more than capable to do the soundtrack for this. He more than anyone is aware of the importance of great music for this series (for the record I really like Macross Zero's ost. Arkan is one of my favorite Macross songs). For the record, I'd love someone like Yashushi Ishii to do a Macross soundtrack

    RIP. Her death is so young is pretty shocking. Pneumonia can be lethal if not diagnosed properly and early, even in a country with first class health care like Japan.

    Iron Blooded Orphans has been nothing short of excellent. Every single episode has delivered.

    They can't touch it as long as it doesn't leave Japan. So no problem there. They won't make a single cent from it. I really wish that Big West would challenge in court for ownership of the Macross name in the rest of the world. I'd take the case to a country like Germany with copyright laws that protect the 'creators' over 'marketers'. They'd have a good shot there. Just watched the trailer again and it grew a bit more on me. I'm thinking that there's a lot that Kawamori chose not to show and that the series might spring some thematic surprises along the way.

    It's Madhouse. The quality will hold. No studio consistently adapts manga better than they do.

    Time difference meant I could only see this a couple of minutes ago. I was excited and extremely suprised by what I saw. It' didn't blow me away immediately like Frontier did, but I was encouraged. I fully expected Kawamori to go full AKB0048 with the new Macross series (Idols and young girls sell guys, get over it) and instead there was lot more of what looked like a neo-medieval fantasy thing going on. Almost reminded me a bit of dare i say Escaflowne? The Valks are impressive and I was happy to see some good old Zentran action. The character designs I didn't like too much, but I suppose that after 3,4 episodes one gets used to them. I hope we have a really good script for this one.

    I hadn't noticed that when I watched the episode. Good observation skills fellas. I was probably too caught up in my " Why isn't Greenland being claimed by anyone? Surely those cold loving fellas from Arbrau cannot mind the cold, can they?"

    I really do hope that they are commited to finishing the story all the way to the last novel. I'd hate if they do a 'Berserk', where they end up adapting exactly the same bit of story that had been done before

    From what I've read from some that claim to be getting their info from Japanese sources, we're looking at full restart with new character designs.

    This season I've so far picked up Owarimonogatari Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans One Punch Man Are certain keepers at this point. Bloody good all of them. Sakurako Heavy Object Perfect Insider Young Blackjack I'm on the fence about. At least one or two will have to go at some point.

    Man, they're gonna give Kizumonogatari the "Hobbit" treatment. They're gonna stretch it for all that is worth. Not that I'm complaining. The character designs and animation look absolutely superb. First ep of Owari (a special is out). Ougi is as magnificently creepy as ever and Oikura's character is a real interesting addition to the series.

    Those 2 have the most fantastic chemistry imaginable. It surpasses reason. The new season is pretty meh so far. I thought Heavy Object might be more interesting but I was a bit underwhelmed. Young Black Jack was ok though. In a couple of hours the new Monogatari series will come to save the season though.
