    Let's hope it's the start of a trend. It'd be interesting to know how many extra discs they would have to sell in order for it to be profitable. Anyone have any idea how much translators/typesetter make in Japan? Are they as underpaid as everyone else in the anime industry?

    The new season has gotten of to a pretty decent start. On top of Macross Delta, we've got a couple of other pretty entertaining series. JoJo- Diamond is Unbreakable (More Jojo is always welcome) Joker Game- (A seinen anime about spies in 1930's Japan? Yes please)

    I ended up with a big grin at the end of the episode. Tighter story and the animation was better and more fluid and the tech behind the 'magic' was more visible. And those last 4 minutes were classic Macross. Chuck strikes me as a Kakizaki clone. I see some pineapple cake in his future.

    That is surprising, I suppose they have some sort of deal those 2 papers (or are part of the same information group). It's a bit weird to have a story about a voice actress participating in a production that will not be accessible to anyone outside Japan (thanks again HG).

    In these times of unlimited choice, options and myriad opinions, it's comforting to know that the entire free world can unite on a single thought, and that is that we all hope Ramsay Snow dies a slow and painful death in season 6.

    YEEESS!! Excellent news. Thanks for the update. For a moment I was a bit disappointed because I thought that it was far into the future and we wouldn't be able to see anyone from the cast we know. Then I read carefully and I realized that it's 2202. So it's only 3 years into the future.

    You end up giving them a bit of money anyway since they own the rights to SDFM anyways. Where are you living? Or even better, do you own a regionfree DVD? Because then I can also recommend the Madman (Australian) release of Macross. It's the same remastered version as the R1 Animeigo version, just on six discs instead of nine.

    I hear you, but it's just not going to happen. In december it was announced that the manga will go on a hiatus yet again, and it is expected to return around Summer 2016 or so. It also announced that the manga will be published as an “irregular series" after that. Whatever "irregular" means is anyone's guess. To be honest, after more than a quarter of a century working on it, I think Miura just doesn't have the same appetite for it anymore. If the anime is successful, I wouldn't be surprised if it got a couple of seasons and then caught up to the manga.

    I'm not too crazy about the CGI mixed with the traditional animation, but dammnn I's psyched to see Berserk post Golden Age finally get animated. It's about time!

    Considering her origins on her mothers side, I suppose there's several options available for having a child, including cloning. That doesn't rule out her having a 'regular' dad somewhere and just having chosen to have her mothers name instead. There are many countries where this kind naming convention is possible
