When does this open up for orders?

Luckily I pre-paid for one of the 2 units I have on pre-order. Decided it will be nice to diplay in fighter and battroid. But especially battroid because the head is so sweet on this one.

My intake covers also fall out really easy. If I just look at it wrong it falls out lol.

I already have 2x of the Yamato Kai and 1x sound booster. The way the value on these are going, I am temped to unbox the nib one I have and leave it in fighter mode to display with the sound boosted battroid display I have on display now. This new one is kinda tempting, but so hard to justify. If I did get it would prob sit in the box in the closet. I have a feeling the price point is going to make me shy away. The other thing that bothers me is that it seems too soon on Arcadia's part to release this again. I really want to support Arcadia, but they seem to make questionable decisions on releases. I know, I know, we are not the target market and Mac7 is wildly popular in JP.

Yeah that's the problem, there are too many to buy and then I buy them all, and sometimes more than one.

I got mine in this morning. I have to forgive Amiami for the shipping charge as the box is humongous. I still think they have crappy customer support though and will not take that back. This was the 3rd biggest box I have ever gotten from JP. The first was from a Yamato 1/60 HLJ sale during Christmas a few years back when they had massive sales on Fed-Ex shipping. The second was from the great Yamato panic when they went out of business.

ULessa, you have to play the pre-order game with Bandai products. I would like to say I strategically buy these, but it really goes like this: Bandai announces a new thing, then I go hrmm... The pre-order opens and I order as many as I can lol.

I got my set in yesterday and have not had a chance to play with them. I have already played with them on my alto and 30th version 29's, so no big whoop. On another note, I am sad to hear that NY is having so many supply issues as of late. I hope I get both of my Tornado sets that I pre ordered. I kinda wish I would have ordered them separately now. Maybe I can have them split the order up or something.

I have never heard of this method. I have a VF-0 Shin that got a stress mark on the head laser (my fault). Would this technique help? Could someone explain the steps in more detail? I don't want to mess it up lol.

The altos did not exhibit the same problem that people had with the CF version. I have transformed that one back and forth with no problems.

Wow they actually did it! I was hoping this would happen, but like many others I am scared of the triangles. I might be down for 2. Does anyone have Bandai connections? I would love to know if they fixed the triangle issues. I am thinking that the triangles have more pressure applied to them in fighter mode causing the cracks. I could be wrong, but the 3 171 CF's I have are fine. I went straight to battroid mode on them to check QC and have left them there and have not detected the cracked triangles. I will check on them at a later date to see if they exploded just from being in battroid mode.

I am thinking that scan is kinda washed out. The 1/72 kit came out a long time ago btw.

Yeah, the Isamu 29 is still available for lower prices than the Ozma 29. I personally like the Isamu variant too, but Ozma seems to have sold better or the stock was lower.

Personally I love the 1/48's in Fighter mode the best. I know the nosecone is awkward in battroid mode, but my V1 Low viz is staying there for now due to space. I also have my VF-1S Fokker and Hikaru VF-1J in the Urban camo and tv colored armor parts respectively. I think I bought my Low viz v2 and armor parts from >EXO< if I am correct. Love them all even though they are over exaggerated a bit lol. Oh and let me not forget about my Stealth with Super/Strike parts, one of my favorite paint schemes ever. I lucked out during the fall of Yamato frenzy and scored a Chronicles Max BNIB for about $100, but could not bring it upon myself to fork out 300 plus on the Kakizaki chronicles exclusive. I really never intended to start a 1/48 collection, but I found a way while Yamato was in between 1/60 v2 releases and they were being dumped for good prices. I don't regret any of the purchases I made in that line and probably be hard pressed to ever sell any of them. The 1/60 v2's do a lot of things better than the 1/48's, but when you see the sheer size of the the 48's it brings a tear to my eye lol.

Good question, we can all hope I guess. I am going to go out on a limb though and say they most likely won't, but the way they opened with the hideous 30th anniversary version you never know.

Actually it's not only the shipping thing this time, but also the lousy customer service they provide. They refuse to help on support issues and are generally rude when asking about products. Don't forget to mention how they handled 2 of our own MW'ers when they had busted YF-19 wings. Hopefully nothing is wrong with the statue or my Frontier movie box set, will most likely be like pulling teeth to get any kind of support.

Actually when Yamato went under, Arcadia had said that they retrieved the molds that they could. There was mention that the 1/48 molds were decayed and were not usable anymore.

All of mine were transformed to Battroid to check for QC. I have not transformed them back due to all the complaints of breakage, so maybe your theory is correct. I am wondering If I put them back in to fighter mode if all the stress will cause them to break. I think they are staying in Battroid mode. I remember reading somewhere Bandai saying that they increased the tolerances on this version over the Alto version. Maybe they went to far.
