I disagree with your last point. Among all of the macross anime,I believe that frontier valks are designed to be transformable toys from the start.

I actually have 4 main wants that actually got me started. 1) DYRL Skull Squadron - got it 2) VE-1 & VT-1 - got the VE-1 3) Nora's SV-51 - got the CF though, I'd wait for a reissue or improvements. 4) VF-1J w Armor Parts - I keep missing this *rage*! So I've achieved a little less than half of that so far. But even if I end up getting those eventually, I dont think I'll stop collecting. -
I think there's only one version of nora type, which is the improvement of the ivanov type

For the box of missiles, you kinda need to force the second one at the best angle. I always attach the inner one first at the proper angle then turn it as best as i could to give space for the second one.

Like the guy before me, check your local postal company's tracking system. Plus what shipping method did you use and how long has it been already? About insurance, they have a shipping method FAQ with insurance provided for each registered shipping method. If it says dispatched from outward office, means it's sent already (in the plane). If your local post office tracking doesnt have it yet, means its still in transit. If you're using their ECO it will take a while to arrive (my last one took 1.5 weeks before it showed up in my local post office tracking).

I have a feeling it will still be obtainable. May be harder to get compared to the recent releases because, as everyone mentioned before me, its Ozma! Thats just a feeling though.

Thanks man, I saw that one on Mandarake too, but it'll be more expensive in the end as they will likely ship it via ems only. Looks like HKC is my to go then.

Does HKC have the cheapest VF-17D. I kind of sold something and now Im able to get that instead (i really want the D type head). And everyone please relax!

It's never been a rule, its a system restriction that some online shops have to ensure fairness and prevent scalping etc. Some like NY (i think) doesn't have such restrictions. Of course they can be bypassed easily too, using accounts with different addresses

I actually meant it that way hahaha. Reissue of the G and then a Tamashii exclusive release of the Tornado afterwards. I just love the blue delta wings of the tornado parts. BTW barurutor if you're still looking for the gundam marker, I think there's like only one kind of grey available. Either that or buy those small paint bottles at hobby shops which have a much much wider selection of greys.

Plus the fact that they give u a whole YEAR before the release. A dollar a day can get you a $300 valk.

I wish they'd combo a reissue of Michael with his blue tornado! With Bandai being random and all, there might be chances for that happening.

I agree with skullmilitia, I was almost going to pay the same amount for an Isamu YF-29 anyway plus I like this scheme more AND it's my favourite Frontier mold. Besides, I've been burned quite a few times (especially during my early macross collecting days last year) so I'm a bit numb to that increase (not THAT bad of an increase) in price. Especially if you compare a $40 increase to not having one at all if you really want it. I'd expect it to be around 17k Yen are readily available places (Amazon JP) without proxy fees etc or at Mandarake during release. Thanks for that NY heads up, I've got 1 on reserve.

Yup im watching those too. Hope my 1 week of waiting doesnt end up having those sold out.. as Im also waiting for wonderfest 14 announcements and save money for those repaints/rereleases instead if i like them more.

Though its definitely the 0D through various confirmations that we already had ( lineart, missile ports at the wing tip, pepsi zero etc etc) I do find that the silhouette eerily similar to that of the VF-5000 Star Mirage.

Thanks for all of the views guys, helped my decision alot. I have set my eyes on a VF-17 since I'm not really a fan of 171's fighter mode and Alto's colours on it, but mostly the latter. I love the way CF 171 looks in battroid and gerwalk and would immediately buy that over 17 or Alto's but sadly being plagued by defects(been reading the 171 thread too) severely puts me off buying that. The complexity of the 171's transformation is also something that I like though. Of course I'd like to have both eventually, just that I don't have enough to get both at the same time. Might still change my mind though, giving myself a week before confirming (or something awesome pops up at mandarake).
