  1. Cup no Fuchiko (コップのフチ子) is a weird little series of figures that you put on your drinking glass. Well, they're jumping on the Star Wars merch wagon now.
  2. Here's a whole lotta other photos. Found via Twitter.
  3. I'll take you to a ball game, if it's in season. The Hokkaido song is sung when we score. The originals
  4. And so he says "I don't like the cut of your jib!" BUT IT'S THE ONLY JIB I GOT BABY!!!!
  5. I've used it on my model builds for years, and I've never had any paint affection troubles.
  6. Came across this while surfing my Twitter followers. At first I thought someone put out an MGS Quiet figure.
  7. Planning any variants? A Missle Regult looks like it would be an easy modification. Even though I've already built the Bandai reissue, I could be down with getting one of these.
  8. I recently picked those up, too! I've been talking with Yeti to see if he can suggest an adapter for these for his YetiStand. Look pretty sweet with these two on one stand.
  9. My advice- do the Bandai kit first. If you start on the Hasegawa, you're going to see just how inferior the Bandai kits are to them, and not want to build it. Start low, and work your way up.
  10. Any chance on getting one of these when the 1/72 movie N-Ger is done (get both at the same time)?
  11. Why are they proudly displaying the sprues to the SDF-1 kit, when it still has the wrong front end on it?
  12. See Hasegawa? That's a correct TV SDF-1!!!!!!!!
  13. Any color is fine by me, since I'm going to be priming and painting anyways.
  14. At least the Super Messiah is looking nice! One preorder I'm not canceling.
  15. Nope, all I have is the 6 fighter kits. This is the second time I've built the VF-4. Long time ago, that was my first resin kit ever built. Gave it to a friend before I moved to Japan. Found the VF-1X at Mandarake, decided to go ahead and complete the set this time. Took about 4 years to get everything.
  16. Part 1 of my big building project is finished! From the old PS-1 video game "Macross Digital Mission VF-X" is the first 3 of the 6 fighters in the game. They're all 1/144 scale resin kits from Yellow Submarine. Each kit also comes with a Milky Doll figure, but I suck at doing figures, so keep an eye on the "For Sale" section in the next month or so. VF-1X Plus Strike Valkyrie Vf-4 Lightning VF-11 Super Thunderbolt 3 more to come, stay tuned!
  17. Well, with the disappointing Hasegawa version, and John's retirement announcement: edited to put in the link.
  18. Will do! You might want to think of a generic air-model adapter. I'm sure many model builders would jump on these then. I've got a 1/32 scale F-14 that I'm (eventually) planning on building in flight mode.
  19. What would you recommend for a model airplane adapter? I've got the Platz 1/72 scale Super Sylph and Mave Yukikaze, and I think it would look cool to display them together (once I actually get around to building them).
  20. Both of these arrived today, from separate sources (Yahoo auction & Amazon)
  21. Kicking yourself at missing an issue? Can't be bother to dig through the remainders bin at the local comic shop? Don't fret! There's a combined graphic novel coming next month!
  22. I think the closest was a non-scale VF-0S Battroid put out by Wave. That's the only non-Hasegawa release of a Macross Zero kit that I know of.
