We don´t know yet whether the Bandai version follows these proportions / lineart. And regarding the gunpod issue, yes, that would be an easy fix, shouldn't it?

I've got the feeling that the best version of this valk will be somewhere between the Arcadia YF and the Bandai VF, but none of them will be the best at everything... They were posted by a fellow member whose name I can't remember some time ago. There was an other one:

What's the preorder period for this VF-0D?

Both the old Yamato VF-0S/A and the new Arcadia version have been designed by Hiroyuki Motoki (T-REX) so I don't think we need to be guessing whether they are re-using the old CAD drawings or not.

The armour won't fit the old ones

So far, we can get it for less than $300 through AmiAmi. I think it's still there, mainly if the new pics are no more than PSed versions of the of the old ones.

! I never said that the blue Mr-K used matches the animation nor that people like it. I just said that the new blue some of you guys have just discovered has always been on the leading-edge root extensions of the painted prototype. I'm sure Mr-K is taking feedback but this is still the same old painted prototype. Looks like the 3x pics that I posted weren't enough to prove it.

I deeply regret that you made that comment. Now the forum members will start making all kinds of assumptions and imagine all kinds of situations, not remembering nor checking that the painted prototype always had those colours, taken -whether you like them or not- from the animation.
