Totally agree...sometimes less is better.... As for bootlegs....I have no problem them....for years official Macross video releases never included English subtitles...so the bootleg videos with English subtitles were welcomed! Now that they are starting to release them with English subs....I can't rationalize paying the high prices when a BD copy is just as good....and way le$$! Currently waiting for a BD bootleg release for the Macross Delta movie to hit ebay...I'm surprisd no one has sold one yet. -
Basically...Macross Trainer Valk Orange....it belongs on a VF-1D or SuperO.....or...

But if it is a copy of the tape I just posted, which is the official tape sold by HG...then it is by definition a bootleg...what difference does it make where it was acquired or for whom it was made for?...LOL Enjoy your bootleg nonetheless! -

Dunno....both have "01" designation.....but the illustration looks red to me....not orange... Seems Bandai has gone from "purple is the new red" to "orange is the new red"....or simply put...they've gone Full-on Arcadia on the colors again...

Shouldn't there be a separate TV and DYRL missile set? So I guess only Harmony Gold licensed products get them right?

Is the armor color supposed to be orange?....looks better closer to red....unless we are getting 5 different armors? Also....to me it looks better in gerwalk mode....

So if it's smaller than the W.H.A.M and it doesn't transform this will be an easy pass. Kind of a massive step backwards from that 1/1800 beast Bandai teased a few Tamashii shows ago.

Bandai also acknowledged the differences when they sold separate armor packs for TV and DYRL for their 1/72 VF-1 kits a few years back

Think we may have to support more than just their Macross figs....pretty sure it cost them more to design and bring those 1/72 to market....if those fail it may be bad news for everything else they may want to release in terms of Macross....

Those 1/72 carrier deck bases always seem to work well with 1/60 stuff too...

May as well complete Fire Bomber...they already did the -19 kai. I'd take them in HMR, DX or both! The funny part is that they already have the DX -19 mold so they could start releasing DX -19 variants whenever they please. They also have the mold to the HM -19....update it like they did the HM VF-1 and they can start doing -19 variants in HMR too. Seems Bandai pretty much owns Macross PT toys at this point.
