  1. Now way they would release it in these colors, right? Right?!?! Is Bandai or Kawamori trying to retcon her colors because of grandma? This takes "Arcadia" color nonsense to a.......whole.....'nother......level! Like you said....everyone else has it right...maybe the mag editors are just trolling the fans.... The lastest VF Masterfiles book has it right too....
  2. Maybe we'll see a strike pack version in a Macross Delta movie so Bandai can milk out another VF-31.....
  3. Love the capital ships.....guessing another Fanky: Battleships of the Galaxy book might be in the works.....
  4. no, seriously....it'd just cost a dollar! LOL!
  5. You looky-loo!!!..... You just called it.....one lonely SV-262 pic in the whole book....

Milia is coming out and I haven't opened up one of my HMR Max -1Js....
  7. VF-0B and VF-0C would be the only other VF-0's I'd buy. Maybe a CF if it was brownish in color.

I think you are in a better position than someone who is a TV N-Ger fan.
  9. Per DHL, I should have mine by tomorrow.

Well, Bandai did tease several VF's for their HM-R line from other Macross shows during their "shock and awe" event a few years back....... IIRC, the last one that they gave a closer look at was the VF-2SS.....so there is definitely a good chance that the HM-R line will continue with VF's from other Macross shows eventually.... My wish would be a 1/35th VF-1J to celebrate SDFM's 35th anniversary....However, DYRL's 35th will be in 2019 and I would be happy to wait for a 1/35th VF-1S Hikaru Strike! But since we are wishing......why not both?

pretty much.....the DYRL "set" is actually closer to becoming a reality, as they have already teased all of the unique DYRL molds with the exception of the Q-Rau....all of the VF-1A's are just repaints....same for the Regults... I'm thinking they will do the hybrid Q-Rau..... the question is will they adapt a DYRL type for the TV version or adapt a TV type for a DYRL version? I'd personally prefer a 100% TV version. As of now, it seems the TV N-Ger could end up being the only one who will not get any love...the TV and DYRL versions are just too different to try to come up with a hybrid version.....maybe someone can use photoshop to show what a DYRL N-Ger would look like in TV-style colors.......although they did offer the TV N-Ger as a "voting" choice.....only time will tell I suppose....

Although I do want the HMR line to eventually include VF's from the rest of the Macross franchise (as has been teased)....I actually would be satisfied if it stopped with SDFM/DYRL...and a FB2012 VF-4 to end it in style!

Are you referring to just enemy mecha? If so, then yes...amazing to think that we may actually get to see them released...and that we just technically need the N-Ger and Q-Rau to have at least one version of each of the enemy mechs. The Regult missile parts seem likely to be released, but not sure if as parts or entire new Regults. Not so sure about the Regult Scout, but still hopeful. However, if we want Yamato-levels of VF-1 SDFM completeness....then we still would need the following (still a short and very doable list): VF-1A Max VF-1A Kakizaki VF-1A Angelbirds VF-1A Cavaliers VF-1D VF-1D Virgin Road VF-1J Commander VF-1S TV VF-X (and if you want to surpass Yamato's VF-1 count) VF-1A Alaska Base VEFR-1 VF-1J Macross the First GBP-1J TV (Bandai has teased this one already) VF-X4 Only the VF-1D, VF-1X, VEFR-1, VF-X4 and VF-1J MtF would require some new molds (but most of the heavy lifting has mostly been done)...everything else (as the HMR King has demonstrated) is merely a matter of a repaint to the existing molds. My only concern at the moment is the lack of a prototype for the HMR VF-1D, which IMO, would be a major omission from Bandai if it were not released. I am hoping maybe Bandai will tease it sometime this year, perhaps at their next Tamashii event. SDFM's 35th Anniversary is turning out to be great for fan's of the original show.....a complete set of Destroids in more or less the same scale was a dream just a few years ago...now it looks like it is coming true. Great time to be a Macross collector!

They sure do....and barring some inexplicable abandonment of the line from Bandai.....by EOY....so shall we all!
  15. Yep....I was waiting to see what I could get it for at HLJ...but just opted for Amazon.jp....total with DHL shipping was 33 USD....
  16. Amazon.jp alerted me that it is on its way...should have it by Thursday.
  17. LOL...you are right...they did already introduce Leia...guess Luke's just a momma's boy...
  18. I was one that also thought it was lame how they brought Maul back. However, his return basically mapped out what we are to expect from the future of Star Wars. Basically, the Jedi/Sith battle is over or soon will be....but the war between the Light and the Dark continues....and there may be forces much worse than the Sith in this new Sequel/Post-sequel era. We shall see. Also, thought it was interesting how Ezra made no mention that Kenobi was alive. Plus, he now has the Sith Holocron again? Finally, how old was Luke in that final scene? Was hard to tell but the way he ran back when "mommy" called...I would say not a teenager? What a great show Rebels has turned out to be. Looking forward to Season 4!
