I'd have been happy with a 2JA as well... Though I'm the weird-ass who likes the Gerwalk mode.

Actually, not quite. The nick of time moment is almost a reversal of the typical action trope.- 398 replies

My major gripe is that the special effects in this film were terrible. Pretty much every CG thing stood out as being CG and clashed with the live action footage. That intro scene was hard to watch, it was so obvious how much of it was fake.- 398 replies

I think they did pick her for t & a. She isn't a very good actress and really doesn't look the part.

Just got back from seeing the movie. EASILY better than the first one. Better paced. Better moments for everyone to shine. Actual team dynamics and back story for a lot of them.- 398 replies

No, many people here have commented on how poor the original Yamato's were. They also didn't cost $300 a pop. At that much, they pretty much need to get it right the first time and these molds aren't looking nearly perfect.

Really? In your video review it looked like the red was darkened to better match the darker gold color, whereas the one sitting next to it had a lot more orange and was brighter to match the bright yellow.
-
I agree, somehow the gold looks less gaudy and bright. I still feel like the red is a different shade as well, though I could be imagining things. Comparing the two side-by-side in Jenius' review I feel like the Yellow tinted canopy balances out the trim on the ankles/shoulders/intakes whereas on the original release the clear canopy stuck out as being unbalanced.
-
I simply don't believe there will be a rush for these things.
-
I must be the only who one finds the gold trim and tinted canopy make the Valk look better.

He's not an industrial engineer. Any body styling change he may suggest will have no bearing on integrated heat shields. That's up to the Mechanical and Materials guys.

This was a much better trailer than the previous ones have been. I'm interested again.

The original Hi-Metals were HORRIBLE looking in figher and gerwalk. Just like that pic really.

I still don't know how you manage to keep all of this stuff straight, Seto.

I suppose I might be a bit torn up about this if I thought I'd actually been able to pre-order one...

I have select few multiples. Two VF-4's, because I never expected them to be made again. Two VF-25A Cannon Fodders. Two VF-30's, because I never exepcted them to make any other variants. Technically two VF-1J's, one bare and one (grey goggled) with the GBP Armor. Two VF-171 Alto's, didn't think they would come out with every 171 variant like they have. Two RVF-171, one with the Radome attached and another I could keep plain because I like the green stripes. Two VF-17D, because I didn't expect there would ever be a third variant and I like to have each type in one of three modes displayed if I can. And three VF-11C's, I never cared for the color of the B but I wanted an 11 in all three modes displayed. Given the amount of space the collection now occupies I can't really justify all of the duplicates like I used to.
-
Comparing the two that fighter mode is WAY better. I always thought the older versions were too blocky in fighter/gerwalk which is why I always kept them in Battroid. If they really are fixed these could be a lot better.

I just do not like how those Storm Troopers look.. Vader, on the other hand, looks amazing. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. Looks like there are some new Movie Realization Star Wards figures in the pipeline too. http://thefwoosh.com/2015/04/bandai-star-wars-movie-realization-boba-fett-imperial-guard-and-sandtrooper

Hard to tell from that angle. Side profile would say. Still looks like the same though.

So the 19 and 171 are now both June releases?
