So I got to mess with the Movie Realization Boba Fett for a bit last night. The similar pants style combined with how the ankles function means the poses start to look a bit similar between Vader, the Stormtrooper and Fett outside of using stands. There's a pretty clever cut up the bicep that allows for some VERY deep elbow bending without an ugly elbow joint. Sculpt looks great, there's tons of details. The knives are individually placed on his body which makes posing him a bit fiddly as some of them can fall off easy. I still think the Stormtrooper is the most striking of the three released so far, but Fett is a close second place followed by Vader by a wide margin.

The Death of "Superman Lives": What Happened?

That Schnepp guy is pretty likeable. Still not sure if a whole documentary needed to be made about this, Kevin Smith already gave a pretty great rundown on his time trying to write that movie and dealing with Jon Peters in a VERY long talk he gave at some University. You can find that video on Youtube actually, his idea for working around the Spider issue was pretty brilliant actually.- 20 replies

We're aware of who Bizzaro is and how he was made. But in this instance they've come out and clearly said this is Doomsday.

I'm going to second this.

And an interesting tidbit in that clip too. The Regults firing and the 31 swooping in appear to be from the same battle. It could be cut to look like they're firing on the 31 when they aren't but there's no denying that skyline is the same in both clips.

The Astromechs, Threepio and Luke all look great. It's nice to finally get a modern Tatooine Luke figure. Looks like some sort of heavy weapons First Order Storm Trooper there too. I'm hoping they'll start popping off the Snow (Original and New versions) and Flame troopers soon too. All the clones and droids look great but I'm not sure I can justify buying all of them. Even rusty threepio is good looking. Mace Windu looks pretty cool, but his face sculpt is a bit goofy. He might look good next to AotC Obi-Wan. Still wondering where all of the new kids are though... Are these pictures from The Predators vacation?

I'm pretty sure the HiMetal Max 1J was a web exclusive. It came in the same sort of box as any of the webshop add-on weapon type exclusives they've sold. And based on how easy it was to buy after release I don't think it sold well enough for them to even bother with the Milia variant.

Sadly I've had no time to get to the Post Office yet or else I'd have posted impressions of the Movie Realization Fett by now.

I had them take damn near two weeks for one of my VF-4's a few years back at the LA one. You might want to track down the phone number for both the post office and customs and call around.

It's an hour and forty minutes of X-Wings blowing up EVERYTHING in atmosphere (because the only way JJ can "ground" things in reality is to literally show the ground.)

I think they were lying, just like how John Harrison wasn't Kahn until he was. Attempting to cram that many battles/scenarios/etc... into 35 to 45 minutes of the beginning of a new movie would be a HUGE mistake.

Such a weird trailer. They get some stuff right... but then they ruin whatever they've set up. It seems like they should have had a part 1 and part 2 or something. I wasn't sold on Civil War after that trailer (still feel like the Bucky/Cap/Iron Man beat down scene is framed and choreographed odd), but it maintains a consistent tone and is cut to be appealing to watch. This trailer is all over the place. The animosity between Bruce and Clark is good, the bit of talk between Alfred and Bruce is good. But when they toss in so much of Squeaky-Luthor and add the monster on TOP of that it just feels jumbled and messy and uninteresting. All of that animosity in the beginning of the trailer, gone, because I can see them teaming up right at the end. Also, their Doomsday-like monster looks TERRIBLE. Both in terms of design and execution. Looks like Squeaky-Luthor mutated Sloth from the Goonies.

It would be very bad for them.

It's too small for me to really notice but it's good to know they're going over this whole process right there with the workers again.

Ah, that's a bummer. I'd like to put off that expense. It's a Tamashi web exclusive so places to order will be more limited. Also, anybody bother with the Clone trooper or the Battledroid? Here's a review of each. Looks like they didn't use the little crotch pulldown mechanism on the legs of the Cl0one Trooper, which is a mistake IMO, as the body armor demands a feature like that to be more poseable. Anyway. I'm surprised they're pumping out so many of these little trailers now, with more and more stuff put in.

WTF are you talking about? The color is fine. And they've provided photographic evidence of going back to the Yamato-style QC and you're still in here trolling. Just get out of the thread, you've been nothing but an a-hole this whole time. You don't like Arcadia, we get it, now frakk off.
-
All of this talk about Arcadia versus Bandai when we should really be asking when is Xigfrid going to finally release his VF-1.

It's more like a hand down the pants. And I praised the toy for what it did right time and again. It's just not the end-all, be-all.
