I really hate the Kai's colors but if I don't buy this awesome mold they're less likely to make anything else with it. Ugh, decisions, decisions.

Woo! Gerwalk for the win!!!

That's just promo pics. I want to see what the talented crew around here do with them. And the excellent poses/photos they come up with.

I just want to see somebodies completed kits. I know it takes time but it's the only way I'm going to be able to see one of these things.

I'd buy one, it's the only Valk from Zero I like. It just so happens I LOVE the hell out of it. It's an interesting look in Gerwalk especially (being my favorite mode.) It's got the classic compactness of the original VF-1 but that Delta wing and additional extension of the wings in the back also gives it a sort of VF-11 look. It's like a hybrid of sorts.

I cannot believe what a difference those red tips/exhaust ports make in the look of these figures.

It's good to be careful, but yeah, I have nine VF-1's and none of them have broken anything. The 0D is the only Mac Zero Valk I like.

I guess I'm different. If I think something looks cool I'll buy it. I don't care if it's a "hero" valk or not. I couldn't even sit through Mac 7 but I bought Gamlin's 22 because I like the color scheme. Same with the 11C, never really saw them in action. I don't like the 11B color scheme but I love the 11C's. I actually bought two of them and I really want a third. I'm not fond of the Mac Zero designs but I'd get a 0D if they made one.

So was this conversion ever finished? I'd love to see the final outcome. The in progress pics look fantastic.

You have got a knack for posing these 19's to maximize their coolness buddy.

They're essentially the same height as a 1/60 Yammie.

I just saw this. Really cool. I wish they were in 1/60 as I don't have any 1/48's.

Not that it's a fantastic Gerwalk mode to begin with but I don't remember those giant gaps in it's back when in G mode. Fighter mode looks okay if a little... gappy. Battroid is sufficiently slimmed down just like in the show.

I really only own 1/60 Yammies and as much as I love, love, love the look of the VF-1 I think based on looks and build quality it would have to be the VF-11C.

No it doesn't lock to the chest plate. It gives the arms more play/pose-ability with the moving plate.

That's a tough call, I love both my Elintseeker and the two VF-11C's I own.

I'm up for a YF-19 V2. Double Nuts is cool but the Fighter and Gerwalk modes just don't cut it for me. The Kai looks like what I wanted in the YF.

Well, those molds look really excellent. For those of you who can afford it can you take a hell of a lot of pics so those of us with less income/modeling skill can live vicarously?

I think the 11C looks much better than the 11B as well. Pink head stripe and all. We're all in agreement the pilot looks like some horrible blob however.

You know, engineering is an iterative process. We would all like to get things working great the first time but more often than not it's a case of try, try again.

As much as I love the paint scheme and look of the VF-11C I do wish they had the old style 11B rifles. The Bayonet does look much better.

As it stands now it shouldn't be too difficult to make something that works for the existing toy. Likely they'd have to release a special version with the little wing flaps on the front of the legs that fold down just like on the VF-1's. Otherwise, there are small places along the legs where the leg armor could snap in to and the backpack thrusters easily fit into the existing spot where the fast packs already plug in. Looking at the lineart it doesn't look like it would be as difficult to do on an existing VF-11.

I would totally rock a VFX-11 with the blue color scheme. While not radically different from a standard VF-11C I'd go for a Raven's scheme as well. The added stripes and different colored nose cone make for a nice contrast. I suppose if I took the time to learn to paint toys I could easily get another 11C and modify accordingly I suppose.

I own two 11C's and I love them.
