Nice find! I like the Wolf Pack and SCF-59 scheme. Here's another one of those:

[R.I.P] Jean-Claude Mézières
electric indigo replied to Old_Nash's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
He returns to the stars. I guess Moebius is already waiting there. -
@arbit That, mate, is the Original Jumpjet, the Hawker Siddeley Harrier, actually it's second generation ( ~ 1980) with the laser nose. The red line just marks a no-step area with the four-legged Pegasus engine underneath.

Looks like a proper British Bird now.

As much as I appreciate the effort, I can't help the feeling that The Crown did it better. Major props for Elastic Studio for fading into obscurity at the end instead of a predictable full reveal.

Yup, it's the Orange Cat Industry's kit distributed by Wave. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10811474

@MechTech That's a mean looking set of blades there!

Metal Skin Panic MADOX-01

So is there actually a connection between the upper body and the legs? Or does the driver have to carry all the weight? Also, no butt armor?- 139 replies

@MechTech Can't you source the blades from another kit? Seems to be a tricky job manufacturing them. _ Since the Harrier's canopy is so spacious, I put some more effort into the pilot. He was converted from a Hasegawa Navy pilot.

I think it would work better as an all animated feature. -

Just use it in a forced perspective diorama and you're good...

Tentacle alert!

I think Hase started the snap-fit & engineered-for-easy-assembly line with the Crusher Joe kits.

@arbit Very solid work with the airbrush there! It doesn't need much in terms of washes IMO, just if you want to accentuate specific spots. _ Got some paint on my Harrier today. The Kinetic kit has great fit & details. I just opened the APU exhaust and modded the intake doors for a hovering state.
