    Apparently it's the 25th anniversary of Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere. Blew my head off with it's design & world building when I tracked down & played the japanese version. Here are my Hasegawa Delphinus 3 (Cynthia version) and Rena's Night Raven from Kotobukiya.

    "I was very interested in pushing in the direction of martial arts films" sums up my issues with this series pretty well. I prefer the "cowboys vs. nazis with a hint of samurai IN SPACE" flavor. At least the cinematography of the new clips doesn't look as bland as in the first trailer.

    I just finished the MODEROID Thunderjaw and it's one of my favorite mecha kits. More pics in my Flickr album The kit's quality is great, but getting that paint scheme right was a huge challenge.

    @wm cheng The paint scheme was 50% of why I got the kit in the first place 😄 I could drool over those mechanical details all day long.
