  1. I own a 2007 Z06 and I have to say it's great---for the price---. It's an absloute blast to drive..It handles great and the acceleration is VERY intoxicating. I will never be a good driver enough to take that car to the limits of what it can acutally do--I doubt there are many around who can who are not professional drivers. (and I have done road racing courses and put it on a track twice). The interior is not Porsche or Audi or BMW quality...but it's not horrible. Bang for your buck..a used C6 Z06 is the best thing going...in my opinion. The biggest complaint I have is the gearbox. It kinda sucks. I recently drove a Lamborghini Gallardo, a Ferrari 430, an Audi R8 and a Porcshe Boxster Spyder...I can honeslty say I felt pretty good about life going home in my Z06. No, it doesn't handle as good as the Germans, nor is it as brutally raw as the Italians..but for less than 1/3rd the cost..I'll live with it.
  2. I love the normal clothes figures. Wish they would have made all the ones from the show...no Jim/Lunk love EVER!!! LOL
  3. ohh SWEET! I've been waiting for somone to do a build of one of these on here! maybe it will convince me to finally get one!
  4. this thing is EPIC!
  5. I seriously thought it was a new Transformers movie for most of the trailer....yeeeahhh...PASS.
  6. The Megahouse Yellow and CM's Bartley I have are the most frustrating things I have ever picked up. I transformed the Yellow once when I got it and never want to touch it again...the CM's I just left in cycle mode as it took my like an hour just to get the figure in a descent pose on the bike. However.....the AWESOMENESS of the Beagle's can never be spoken of enough...if you have the funds--get both--or if you just have to have one--get the Scott/Stick one. You will never regret owning it!
  7. absolutley amazing build!! Luv IT!!!!
  8. I'll be first in line for the 2D showing,,,,,
  9. Finished my Galactica today. Very pleased with it. Acreation Armor Decals, (well worth the time), random photoetch SDF-1 parts inside the pod bays for a little detail, photoetch landing bay girders (trust me, they're in there), photoetch museum windows, photoetch guns on the top, and photoetch nameplates and registry number panels.... ...(those were fun), My first attempt ever at decals over photoetch,,,so be kind.. Lots of pics....hard to get all the angles of the thing...enjoy! p.s.---thanks to 505th and Electric Indigo for the help along the way! well....it re-ordered my pics from the order I wanted them but oh well....look at the last one first! lol

  11. How am I just now finding this thread??? Awesome work so far!!!!
  12. WOW! that red custom is AMMMAAAZING!!! Drrooooooool
  13. I'll chime in here....I have the blue, red and green Alphas from Toynami and the Blue Beta. I display them only. As stated above...the Alpha+Beta is impressive as a display peice. I stickered (the ONE thing Toynami did get right is the quality of the stickers...very good) and panel lined them all and they do look good in all modes IMHO. I have transformed my Beta many times--no problems there--legs are a little loose, but no biggy. The Blue alpha's hands have crumbled, shoulder missle launcher door is busted, and it's floppy in Battroid, but I still think I got a fairly "good" one. However..I leave it in fighter mode with the Beta. As for my Red and Green guys--I have transformed them once. Carefully. I just look at them...but then again...I just really look at my Beagle's and Yamato's as well.... Someday I'll have to track down a red and green Beta for cheap...
  14. Agreed. I think a set of 1:72 water slides would do a lot for the VF-17S.
  15. My life has consisted of decals....lots and lots of decals...so..many,,,decals.. getting close though! I must say the Acreations decals are awesome! The few that come with the kit itself...SUCK.
  16. This isn't Macross related...and the words are in spanish, but you gotta love this guys work! Check it out...
  17. well, after deciding my first base color wasn't to my liking, and not wanting to do just all greys, I decided to try something new and different. Went with a new base coat of Model Master Metallizer "Burnt Metal" and then after 3 hours of masking (which nearly drove me nuts...) hit the areas that I'm going to appy the armor decals to with Neutral Grey. I think it looks kinda cool actually....have to wait and see how the decals look before I start dirtying up the old bucket...
  18. those all do look REALLY awesome when together like that Graham!
  19. I just completed a whole "back room of the house" cleanout and hobby room setup...I have been using the dining room table....us unmarried guys can get away with that....however...it was a little ghetto.. so... here we go. First two pics is of the room..second pic is my workbench in the garage for painting. I really need a spraybooth though...anybody got any recommendations???
  20. I'll PM you. don't wanna thread-jack.
