  1. He's next up.
  2. Here's the finished product. Came together good. Custom rock courtesy of mom's bookshelf..LOL. She offered when I told her what I was working on, so I took her up on it. Perfect asteroid! Thanks mom!
  3. TBD....lol. I have a large glass curio, I'm just playing around, it will eventually be 4 VF-1's. skull squadron.
  4. Sunday night fun with YetiStands! Trying my first diamond 4 Valk setup...
  5. I'm gonna order another one tomorrow. This time I won't get superglue on it....grrrr...thanks for the discount!
  6. Finished other than gluing on the bomb dropping piece, which I have to do after I make a custom base for it (hopefully tomorrow).
  7. VF17 will hurt you every single time you go near it...
  8. All I want to know is when we are getting 1:48 Ywing, BWing, Awing, and everything else 1:48 for that matter out of the SW universe!
  9. Thst pic with the VF-1 makes me want one now......dammit.
  10. I bought all 3 Alphas and Betas at different times. Alpha's all have crumbly hands, loose joints, gappy gaps...just not a good product really. It does look good if you never touch it. The Beta's were better no doubt, but still have issues. They are just fun to have because honestly, never in my wildest dreams thought I would ever get a half way descent Beta Fighter. I would NEVER buy any of these again however without there being a major redesign.
  11. that blue I think everyone could live with. Hopefully it turns out close to that....however..LOL
  12. Repaint done. Custom blue-grey mixed color. Pain in the butt. I hate mixing. Anyways, I'm much happier with this! The first two pics are a good capture of the actual color. Almost finished with this build now!
  13. @Mechleader---I don't know what scale it actually is...if you look at the wings, which originally were the same ones used for Darth Vader's Tie in ANH, compared to the ANH 1:72 Bandai kit, then these are larger. However, cockpit parts look to be closer to my FineMolds 1:48 Tie, so I don't know, the kit is probably in between somewhere. @GU-11---no worries, I know what you meant the first time, and I totally agree. @Jefeumon---totally loving the old school Kermit The Frog giant bells on top alarm clock!
  14. Well, got some painting done on Mr. Tie Bomber. I have to admit, the light grey isn't really doing it for me. As much as I reeeeaaally don't wanna mask the solar panels again, I really think I need to mix a custom blu-er grey to make myself happy. I hate being a perfectionist...siiiiigh
  15. wait.....Wayne's kit as far as I know could not be built as the never seen in the anime "firing position", so this must be another kit someone made at some point???
  16. I thought that was the same one! I bought mine directly from Wayne down in Australia a few years back. Good guy.
  17. The Finemolds 1:48 X-wing wasn't exactly cheap. Where does it say it's got electronics in it? "Moving Edition" might simply mean the wings fold flat or open up after assembly like the Finemolds kit.
  18. Nice video. Wish I had got some of that acrylic solvent and not used superglue which I managed to get on my freakin bases in a couple of spots. Uhhgggg. In the future I would recommend to everyone to leave the brown contact paper ON when attaching the middle piece. Would have saved me.
  19. Lots of both. It's nearly impossible to get in every nook and cranny. Painting wasn't bad on the gun or grey parts, primer, sand, primer, sand, primer and paint. I used Model Master enamels. The white and yellow missiles were more of a pain. I finally ended up using white spray paint from Home Depot and Tamiya yellow TS spray paint for the tips. Thanks! Next time I have my Arcadia 19 or my Yamato VF-19F in Battroid mode, I'll get some pics of it on his arm!
  20. Finished product. Came out good. More work than I thought it would be however. Shapeways material is just hard to work with IMHO, not to mention pricey. This will be my last purchase from them I think.
  21. Mr. Moscato's last bad guy..."baby crabs" have landed
  22. Finally got a day off today, so first thing I did was finish up my Shapeways YF-19 Arm Weapon. Looks pretty cool. However, I think I'm officially done with Shapeways. The material is just to hard to work with to make it fun. Not to mention its its pretty pricey. On to masking Tie Bomber wings!
  23. Still no baby crabs here yet. TV SDF-1 .....hmmmmmm........interesting. 1/3000 would match Yamatos DYRL...
