    I would like to see a US Macross ie Robotech and nothing else. The story has enough material to make three movies. Its nicely sequenced and has a limited amount of mechs to make it successful budget wise. The characters are also full of dialogue so no issues there. Star Wars has shown that it can multi layer a lot of galactic ships with all sorts of pew pews in smaller fighters. The only difference the valks will transform. Again budget saving. Further The valks wont have to be complex tinfoil transformations ie transformers, more budget saving since the graphics department dont have to rewire their brains to figure out how to uncrumple tin foil in order to make something a robot. Toys wise. NO. Not the US distributed ones. I would like to see TakTomy, Bandai and Arcadia jump on the bandwagon.

    YEAH I was sad when I got my Sideswipe, dont forget the visibly hollow legs. What about just finishing off the tread of the tires at least. They just left the tips and a ugly plain strip in the middle. Not a single accent paint on the shoulder cannon?? My MP soundwave is in transit but judging from the pics the 3PC prototype looked more solid, I guess that is why they rushed with Qaukewave. At least their soundwave didnt have the side of the legs looking like there was a plate from the alt mode hanging off

    There is also the cheaper Maketoys one. Its around $300 It is hardy. And the plastic used on the the three Superion parts I have are top notch. I just figured out what the funny clear piece was for on Eagle Its to use as an adapter to use the foot piece as a flying stand. So even if Silverbolt is not great I believe with some paint the thing will be beautiful. After all you can get this if your into hasbro combinors

I find it funny how many people loose site of aesthetics when you tag a g1 name to something and some sort of semblance to a g1 toy. And David is right about his comments in regards to a 3PC silverbolt and those comments apply to Hasbro's blitzwing. Except I would expect more from hasbro Trailerbreaker CHECK Sandstorm who knows havent actually seen the toy So that's 3 out of how many 3PC? Nevermind

Here is my note to Arcadia Dear Arcadia: While I do have my fair share of valks, one of each, I would like you to continue making "Masterpiece" versions geared towards adults albeit at lower price points. Many of us or not...do collect other lines in between formally Yamato's releases, such as Soul of Chogokin and 3PC/MP transformers/Gunpla, it would therefore make it extremely helpful if you can 1) package your valks in smaller boxes and 2) price them a bit lower, ie $150-$180. And while Bandai continues to gauge the collector on the Mac Frontier line, I implore you to make a SDF-1 TV version albeit at a lower price point, finish off the destroids. Furthermore it would be nice to see some enemy mechs, ie Zentradi commander and enemy war ships Thank you

    An elitist when comes to collecting to others collecting toys. Why are so many taking offense. I am called that everyday on the other boards for collecting SOCs FEWTURE getters etc. There are many different tiers of collectors. But hell I admit keeping up with you guys is like chasing a Ferrari in my ford pinto. Which means several things. 1) your single and live at home 2) You have no kids but your women doenst mind. 3) you have a family and make enough to burn cash on uber expensive toys. I built a spreadsheet to track my habit and start limiting myself. In one year I was blown away I had spend $10,000 on my plastic addiction. So I scaled back. Now I find it difficult to sell my items. Because everyone has too much. I got what I wanted from Yamato. Now all I want from Bandai are those blasted armor parts for my VF-25 Michael. I have one v1 armored and am satisfied with 1 v2 Armored Michael. Even if it means getting armor packs from alto. IT just seems to me that the 3PC toys are cheaper in relation to their size than was Yamato. So the size thing doesnt fly, They pegged the huge prices because they knew there were people willing to choke out that money from their wallets. Wait a year or two and they are half the price on HLJ. Edit: Anyways, it would be nice to see the consumer dictate the price for a change rather than the manufacturer. I find it sad that some really want a VF-25 but need to fork over $300-400 bucks to get one.

    Bandai Hi Metal was actually pretty good. Not sure if I agree with you about being lower tier collectibles. I love my VF-19 Fire Valk. Its very decent, I believe high quality all in a smaller package albeit. I am not sure why so many are worried tho. This black hole will be filled quickly. Maybe Arcadia needs some time to look at pricing and logistics

    Sorry if my memory is a little rusty? Its been a while since my Chinese History classes in the university days. So the 45 million that Mao killed, the hundreds of thousands of people died building the Wall for Qin and hundreds of thousands of people that died him trying to unify the country, never mind the 20 or so other emperors. The nascent greed displayed in Modern china adopted by days of past. The skinning and hacking of commoners alive for the emperors amusement (ya it happened in Rome and Japan too) How many revolutions over and over again due to such behavior. How many did the Japanese kill. An estimated 20 million. Did China try to take Japan it did. How many Japanese died in two days? 300 thousand as they were already surrendering to the US. How many Chinese are imprisoned during the current establishment. How many have gained wealth within the party. I just think you need to first think about your own history and maybe your poor taste in judgement of choosing such a hero and then expecting EVERYONE to give you accolades. I guess to some here it doesnt matter to others it does. Also I find it funny that a majority of Chinese will purchase Japanese cars and German ones too as both nations were labeled the axis of evil. Just something to ruminate over...I personally find your covers offensive and jingoistic at time where Chinese nationalism is on the rise. And we all know where that leads to . But to the authors of this website what does it matter to offend someone while locking a thread down about upcoming toys from Dengeki magazine. I sometimes feel that I am the reincarnation of HL Mecken himself.

    Not to get into a heated debate..so I will summarize my thoughts as quickly as possible. Its weird to me for china to have anti japanese sentiment at all. Sure the Jap. were brutal but to be fair the chinese emperors were equally brutal to their people. Mao more so in the great leap forward years. And now in modern times having lived in china briefly and married to one. I find a huge river of apathy towards the plight of their own. At any time one can benefit from the misfortunes of others, some turn their heads for their own gain. Sure Captain America is jingoistic. They had to be in WW2 The Russians and Chinese died many times over and on a small hill the Americans were humiliated by a ill equipped chinese army. Hence the bravado. Having one wrong doesn't make both right. And Yes Cap USA and Cap China (with a red flag-knowing full well of the abuses we see today by the communist party) are both equally wrong. But descent is often trodden on and I really am sad to see that one cannot openly discuss his opinions on the topic because when you boil it down it is discussing the comic, about its content. I know this wasnt brief but this is the last comment I make in this thread Edit: just one question Why not something else? What inspired you to a nationalistic character. Why not a character with no clear national identity?

    I dont disagree but I see people with 4,5,8 valks of the same mold with different colors. Spending money on multiple uber expensive Mac Frontier Valks and you dont consider that elitist? I collect a little of everything. Macross, Soul of Chogokin, 3PC formers, and Gunpla. I still cant afford the pace of some of the members here. Maybe elitist is the wrong word. Maybe Premier is a better word but there are a few here who can really afford the line. Others like myself have to pace myself. Now I think change is refreshing. Thank you Yamato for all those years of giving us fantastic valks that are fun realistic and break easy. But I welcome change and even a little bit of a break. Looking forward to less expensive and durable. Maybe a SOC VF-19? ALSO what is all the love with the VF-19P That this is all kinds of yuck
