  1. Yup Not saying bandai wont milk it for every dime. But at least it will be limited breakages. Maybe ! lower prices. While I do love my valks, and I have a lot, not like some here who have multiples, cause I have no idea where they earn their money, with myself in a sort of decent job with family to support could never afford. In some respects its become an elitist group and basically yamato has marginalized themselves to a small core of collectors that from a business perspective isn't sustainable
  2. I did mention its from the G-System folks right? Also, the LEDs are molded into the parts. There is a battery in the rear Ass Back armor plate that is rechargeable. Still waiting on to hear if you have to wire it yourself. To me its looking that way. sorry im confused. Isnt MG Sized and MG scaled the same thing? Isnt it standing right next to a MG SInanju? Isnt it 1:100 scale. Cause it sure is looking like it is.
  3. Nothing casual about my being a fan! I have all the valks from the Frontier line, SDF-1 from Yamato, MiniMac, Destroids etc etc
  4. Sometimes Tiny isnt so bad. You can add a ton more detail into smaller scales than with larger ones. Then you get into tolerance issues blah blah blah. E.G. RG vs MG.....I would not mind at all the scale they managed with their 1/144 scale like YF-19F. The boxes were already becoming an issue with me. And knowing Bandai I am sure we will get a steller DX Chogokin Valk with all the goodies that the Mazinger came with, hanger and all
  5. I have it back on pre-order. This was made by the guys from G-System that started their own company. Will let you know if wiring is required.
  6. And there you go, Top page shows Bandai will now pick up the slack and hopefully down to earth pricing as well Weeeeee
  7. You guys make me laugh. You are so into your addiction you dont even realize what good news this actually is. $400 for a VF-4. Yeah I bought it, because I really like the bird but its NO WAY IN HELL its worth that much. I get so much more toy and Build Material Quality on my DX Mazinger Z than on that valk. And some have even experienced broken ones NOT to mention the bazillion times all of you have whined about breakages. Their toys were beyond expensive. Also, drop in price like stone after a couple of years. While I will somewhat miss Yamato on nostalgic grounds im sure some other company will the fill gap. I was happy with their 1/24 Patlabor figure and the Liger zoid
  8. Yeah its still a kit. And a small one. I did have a pre-order going but he wants $130 to ship it. Which made me chuckle a bit since I got the DX Chogokin Mazinger Z for $50 shipped. Naw for that price Im not going to be the guinea pig . I will wait until Ami Ami or HLJ gets some on order.
  9. Ah jingoism ..... And why isnt this thread locked?
  10. While I am not disagreeing, Keep in mind its extremely hard to pack all the "Meat" into a SR-7 since the plane was paper thin in real life. For that I can forgive them. I can forgive them further because the original G1 was no different. And further understanding in design choice if you think about every SR-7 toy made with the robot chunk hanging from below. This one more especially since you have to not only pack the robot bits but also parts that should be a part of the gestalt. Maybe this one was more ambitious to choose of the gestalts but I m in it for the final show. Which is all of them combined.
  11. Coming along nicely However, its pretty pricey for a MG size Elyn Hobby Products: 1/100 Kshatriya Release Date: March 2013 Price: US $220
  12. Well I finally got some time to spend with TFC Eagle. Overall opinion. Buy it. Its a very good figure with plenty of features. The QA is top notch. The Plastic is think and detailed. Transformation is not difficult but not too easy to be boring. Very posable with lots of detents in the joints. Conversion to leg mode is very good. One draw back is that it is a part former because I have not figures out a way to incorporate the foot into either the robot mode or jet mode. Maybe there will be some way to incorporate with the other team members. It does have some backpack kibble but it folds in all the right places. Retail is $100 and it is pricey but if you cant wait for a decent superion this is the figure/s to have. Size class is between a deluxe and a voyager. Lots of detail too. Even in the booster exhausts. Good detail/panel lining on the body. Its a lot like the MP Seekers in over look
  13. Um I guess Goodbye yamato means goodbye Macrossworld??
  14. Actually your on to something, How about a PG 1/30 Kit!
  15. What they are making man dolls?????? Oh yamato I mean Arcadia, you sly you !
  16. Ok now I am worried. Are you not the one with the in on Yamato. You rub me here and I rub you there and YOU! got sidewinded by this? OHOH BUT it will now make the current macross products uber expensive if you have any in your collection. DAMMIT! I should have waited to sell my 1/72s and 1/60s version one!!!
  17. Your lucky I was about to through the shoe at you. Seriously its just a name change. Like Takara and Tomy. Taktomy. No biggie. I am worried about how the new company execs will press manufacturing production. Is this because Bandai is putting the squeeze on the Macross market ...
  18. I am watching Kamisama HajimemashitaI like it a lot. Its fun. Reminds me of Innuyasha
