    They made a solid choice for the recasting of Baylan (can't think of a better choice then the hound, not exactly the same character type but close and the actor has the demonstrated talent to pull it off). Unlike other Disney Star Wars shows Ashoka did not suffer as badly, Thrawn was a let down and the writing for Ahsoka herself was uninspired but there is a chance the show can learn from the mistakes of the first season.

    Universal is just as expensive. It might be a few bucks cheaper but that is splitting hairs at best. Where Disney may be in trouble soon is that new Universal park - where Disney is only repurposing existing land instead of adding more capacity.

    That 2nd toxie trailer is much better. I didn't think they could afford the talent they have in this film. Peter Dinklage as Toxie? Inconveivable! (to borrow a phrase)

    Well, they got a good bit of hype from a glorified 20 second title frame.

    I can already see the Disney World ride for this and hear the song "It's a Maul World..."

    28 years later and the living have still have not learned to stay near armored vehicles... But yes, I will still watch it.

    All I could think of with folding chairs is Dark Star... But even those chairs were only beach chairs.

    Don't overthink superhero stuff. The water that quicksilver runs into multiple times (or the bullets he deflects) while going at full speed should have killed him. Or how many times Superman lifts up an object and said object does not split into pieces (like a boat or an airplane), or...

    As soon as he realized Kal-El is injured he stops jumping and gets serious. Having a Dachshund that FIRST jumps all over us whenever she sees us I can see a dog doing just what Krypto does.

    Luckily for Disney nobody really remember BB when they hear Tron. They remember the unique visual FX. This movie is looking like it is worth a trip to the theater. It seems going from the Digital World to the real world allows keeping the powers from the digital world - though that didn't work for the humans that went digital and came back.

    I can't remember exactly what it was about Man of Steel that makes me think I was not looking forward to it. It was one of three possibilities. 1 - I thought "ANOTHER" intro story? 2 - I thought the guy from Superman Returns should have had another shot at the role. 3 - Perhaps it was just the movie itself tainted my memories of it from before I saw it. The movie itself was a letdown.

    I have a 10 pound Miniature Dachshund - and yes those little legs hurt when she jumps on you.

    That is as bad an idea as trying to cast someone other then Peter Sellers as The Pink Panther's Inspector Clouseau

    I don't think you will ever have a title with the word "Acolyte" in it again. Some of the characters in it (err maybe not with the death toll in that one - so it wasn't ALL bad) may make an appearance in future shows though. The Tales of the Empire was so bad I only watched a few minutes of the first one and gave up on it.

    Could be worse, the costumes could look like the inquisitors on Kenobi....

    I find almost all the live action characters at the parks to look weird. It is very hard to capture a live action person with a double that has to look the part without the help of lights, specific camera angles, etc...

    We had a Speed Racer movie, the world pretty much agrees that was bad...

    Well, Phantom Menace gave us that and based on that the answer is NO! I admit to watching CSpan coverage of the House and Senate from time to time.

    Historically some of the nastiest fighting in a war against a dictator or any revolution happens after the dictator falls. The victors very often only have one thing in common - wanting the dictator out.

    They did not need to go that route either. The Wars could have kept right on going after the Empire fell - just because everyone wanted rid of the Empire did not mean they all wanted the same kind of government AFTER the Empire. A bit of that chaos starts making people hanker for the old certainty of life under the Empire...

    Sadly all I really know him for was the Grill, but it was one of the few infomercial contraptions that actually worked well. That and at least on TV he seemed to be a decent fellow.

    It DRAGS for a number of episodes and then BOOOOM the plot takes off. Wait till at least that episode (you will know it when you see it).

    More importantly, I have no idea what the show is about and the modern trailers don't help at all in that regard. The trailer looks like a show about a coffee house with some creep filming it on a hidden camera...
