Great, I'd really love a translation of the basic game menus, I'm getting far too old, grumpy, lack of patience, lack of time to sit and figure everything out through trial and error like I did in my younger days..........hahaha. Graham

Just got the game and played about 20 mins last night. Some v simple idiot questions: 1) In the first tutorial mission in the VF-0D, where you are Battroid mode only, what are you supposed to do to the three VB-6? I couldn't destroy them, they didn't seem to take any damage. Are they non-destructable targets just for you to practice lock on and firing? 2) To skip the talking heads, it shows on screen to either press Circle or R1. What difference between pushing the two buttons? Graham

So have they cut season 5 short at only 20 episodes instead of the usual 22 episodes? I saw episode 20 was announced as the season finale? There's definitely been fewer and fewer Clone Wars figures released by Hasbro for season 4 and 5. I recently picked up the Phase II armour Captain Rex, Commander Fox and Commander Wolff for my son. Disappointing that the knees are not articulated though. Graham -

PS3 and a couple of games just purchased for the son and I. Macross 30 standard edition on the way. Now just need to figure out how to set up one of these new fangled consoles, especially with regards to online. Connecting a console online is a completely foreign idea to an old timer like me. I'd definitely go for the renewal version. At least some of the older first issue 1/60 YF-19 toys had knee and arm joints made from the same explodium (or perhaps it's disintegratonium)as the VF-0 toys. I've had a YF-19 in battroid mode where the knee and arm joint crumbled when I picked it up out of the display cabinet after not touching it for several years. Graham

The Ozma version does nothing for me. Far prefer the iconic Isamu scheme, it looks so good in the screen shots we've seen. Graham

Just comparing toys, it doesn't appear to be a mold change. Those head sensors appear to be separate pieces. So for whatever reason, whether on propose or accidently, they where installed and glued on the opposite way around to the Alto toy. Graham

Damn, I hope Bandai releases a repaint of the YF-29 in the Macross 30 Isamu colours. I think I want that just as much as the YF-30. Graham

Every console I ever bought was bought specifically to play Macross games, with the sole exception of the Sega Mega Drive. Graham

Finally broke down and ordered the standard version of the game from CD Japan. Now I've gotta buy a PS3 Just wondering if it is worth also getting the two Frontier hybrid packs and the DYRL hybrid pack for the games, given that all the mecha from the Hybrid pack games (and more) will be in Macross 30 anyway. Bandai really needs to reissue the Alto, I've got one with Armour Pack, one with Super Pack, need to have a third one bare. Hopefully, they will do a reissue bundled with an updated Tornado Pack. Graham

I would have liked the egg carton NOT to be able to deploy in high-speed mode, but that doesn't seem to be the case judging from the video. I wonder if alternate weapons pallets will be available in game for the egg carton to change it into a beam gun or combined beam gun/missile launcher. Graham
