  1. I've got 3 cells from M7, one of Mylene, one of Gamlin and one of a VF-17D in battroid mode. Graham
  2. Yes, there is a hatch under the nose, just like on the 1/48, for the swing bar to fit into. It's just I can see it more clearly in the actual magazine, compared to the low res scans I posted. I'd post higher res scans if it wasn't for the stupid attachment size limits on this new forum software. You should be able to make it out in the pic below. Graham
  3. Well, it's pretty certain that the VF-0S will be coming with 1 x pilot, 1 x GPU-9 gun pod, 12 x AIM-200A air-to-air missiles (3 per wing pylon) and 2 x leg-mounted FAST packs (held on by magnets). I would say there is a high chance that we will get the Ghost later and if we are lucky the Reactive Armor set as well. Graham
  4. I hate the Asshimar, flying donut with legs more like. Or as I not so affectionately call it the 'Ass-Hammer'. Graham
  5. 3 for sure, perhaps 4 as I really like the VF-0S design and what we've seen of the Yamato toy looks mighty fine so far. Can't wait for the VF-0D hopefully in both normal (grey) and Shin (blue) colors as the D is my favorite of all the Zero variants. Graham
  6. Somebody should start a poll thread on how many 1/60 VF-0S is everybody going to buy . I'll be getting at least 3. Graham
  7. One thing that helps the VF-0S in this regard is that the top-outer part of the shoulders are sloped, which makes them more aerodynamic in fighter mode compart to the VF-1's shoulders, which are more squarish. Graham
  8. I'm still doubting whether the painted VF-0S that Noel recently took pictures of at Wonder Festival was actually a modded 1/48 or not. Thing is I know 'Tofu', the Yamato guy that Noel spoke to and his English is pretty poor to non-non-existant, so it might just be a case of him not getting his meaning across to Noel clearly. You can't really mod a 1/48 and make it look like a VF-0S. Yes, you can use a few parts like the landing gear & swing bar but everyting else has to be either built from scratch or modified so heavily that it would probably be easier and simpler to build from scratch. The 1/48 doesn't have a 'skeleton' that you can attach VF-0S parts to, like some people have been saying. Graham
  9. If I'm reading this right, that means the amo magazine will be removeable from the gunpod. Although we never see a VF-0 change magazines in the OVA, the Compendium does say that the VF-0's gunpod uses detachable magazines, unlike the VF-1's GU-11 gunpod, which does not. I'm still wondering if the pitot tube on the underside of the VF-0's nose will have to be removed during transformation, or have Yamato designed some clever way for it to fold or retract into the nose for Battroid mode? Graham
  10. I don't think Yamato is getting the FAST packs held on by magnets idea from Toynami. IIRC, it was Macrossworld's own WM Cheng who built a Hasegawa VF-0S that had the FAST packs detachable and held on by magnets. Graham
  11. Not sure what do you mean by that? Graham
  12. Well, if it wasn't for these stupid attachment limits (something the old forums didn't have), I could also post new pics of the 1/72 Hasegawa VF-0S with Ghost Booster model kit in the model forum. Unfortuantely, I've reached the limit for posting attachments. And Shawn still hasn't given me the access codes for the new server, so I can't upload the pics directly to the site either Graham
  13. Is this the final color? I thought it was going to be white with black like in the anime? 323251[/snapback] Not the final color, this is just an unpainted resin prototype. Graham
  14. Hopefully, Renato or someone can translate the text around the pics. Oh, and I just gotta add, this updated forum software sucks for posting pics. Bring back the old form software I say. Crappy 1.95mb posting limits Graham
  15. Guys, Attached are some new pics of the Yamato 1/60 VF-0S prototype from the new October 2005 issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine, which has just hit the streets. From studying the photos, this seems to be an actual 1/60 prototype, rather than the modified 1/48 VF-1 just displayed at Wonder Festival. Of course I could be wrong. Note the nicely sculpted pilot figure. Graham
  16. Nice Raptor, but why does Captain America looks like a Zombie in his avatar? Graham
  17. Yep, got it already. Actually got two of them, one built and one unbuilt. See the linked thread posted above for pics of the completed kit. Graham
  18. Yawn......when are they going to make an RX-79G. Graham
  19. Land of The Dead opened here in Hong Kong on Thursday August 11th. I finally got to see it yesterday. Would have loved to see it on the opening night, but family commitments kept me busy until yesterday . Great movie and definitely needs multiple viewings. As a Zombie movie, it kicks the ass of that crapy (IMO) Dawn remake from last year. Romero is still the king when it comes to Zombie movies. Lots of great Zombie kills, good action and enough blood and gore to keep most Zombie fans happy. My only real complaints are that at 92 minute it was a bit too short. I would have liked it to be at least 30 minutes or even an hour longer. And secondly, I thought a bit more character development would have been nice. Oh, and somebody has to make a toy of the Dead Reckoning, that thing kicks some serious ass. Looking forward to the directors cut DVD. Graham
  20. Nope, definitely wasn't Blood Work, way before that. For some reason I had it in mind that it was True Romance, but nope, just rewatched True Romance for the first time in years and I was mistaken. The film I'm thinking of should be from about the same time period as True Romance though and have a fairly youngish lead actor. Oh and N-Frames rock in any caliber. Wish I still had my 629. Graham
  21. Need help remembering a movie title. I saw this movie about 8-10 years ago, where the hero used a short barrelled 8 shot revolver, which was probably a S&W N-frame in .357mag with either a 2" or 3" barrel. I only have very vague memories of the movie, but I seem to remember at the end of the movie, the hero has fired 6 shots, so the bad guys think his revolver is empty. Then the hero goes on to kill the last two bad guys with shot # 7 & 8. It's bugging the hell out of me that I can't remember the movie name as I'd like to watch it again. Can anybody help me out with what movie this is? Graham
  22. Not into 12" action figures at all, but these Colonial Marine Figures look awesome. Might have to break down and purchase the Hicks figure. Graham
  23. Can't see the pics . Graham
  24. Yep, I want fly VF-0, SV-51, YF-19, VF-22 and VF-17. BTW, is ACE an actual fighting game or is it a strategy type game like the SRW games? Graham
  25. I guess this is really just an example of Darwinism in action. I mean a person who's life consists soley of playing online games 24/7 should not really be contibuting to the gene pool anyway . Rememeber, everything in moderation. And games rather than sex? Sorry, my brain is just not wired to understand that mindset at all. Graham
