  1. Need advice on completing the Frontier EX mission 'My Boyfriend is a Pilot', where you play as Klan using the Q-Rea. Having a hard tiome on this also. Graham
  2. Took me 22 hours play, but I finally got SS on Sad Sniper EX. Now up to 114 hours in total. Graham
  3. OK, I may redesign the poll. Graham
  4. Between my son and I, our house is overflowing with toys. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion, but the wife seems to not be too happy about it. So yes, any new toy now has to be smuggled in when she's on night shift....LOL! Once the toy is in and on the shelf, it's no problem, as we all know that women are incapable of telling the difference between mecha toys. Graham
  5. Cool, Speaker Pod Gamma, The gold Q-Rau from FOSW, forget the pilot's name (Chloe?) and the underwater Anti-UN mecha from Zero who's name also escapes me for the moment. Oh and the Destroid Cheyenne II from Frontier. Can't wait! Graham
  6. Picked up the last one in the Sugar Street Animate branch yesterday lunch time. Paid an exhorbitant price, but no time to trek over to Ins Point to get it cheaper. Surprisingly small box. Haven't opened it yet. Gotta wait til' the wife goes on night shift in a couple of days. Graham
  7. Not yet in Wanchai when I looked this evening after work.
  8. That's a shame. I don't know why it doesn't get any love. It really is a beatiful looking mecha IMO. Graham
  9. I await more details with curiosity. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of excessive amounts of diecast metal in transmforming toys, due to the paint chipping that inevitably occurs. My view is that metal should just be added where necessary for durability, not just having diecast for diecasts sake. My main hope for the VF100s line is to reduce the amount of parts and parts-forming necessary. Graham
  10. Yamato are now considering making sonme accessory sets andhave asked me to do some research on what peripherals people would like. I will be putting up a poll soon. Graham
  11. Can someone piease attempt a translation of the VF-171 B-page from issue 31? Dying to know more about this mecha.
  12. Poll choice added. To be honest, guys even though the VF-4 is one of the choices under consideration, it is an extreme longshot, as due to the lack of variants to milk the mold. Graham
  13. Which new perfect transformation variable fighter would you like to see next from Yamato in 1/60 scale? I'm only including the probable candidates in this poll, as the more obscure VFs like the VF-9, VA-3 etc, frankly have little chance of consideration, so it is honestly a waste of time to include them. The choices I have listed are the serious contenders. Please note that the VF-17 & VF-19 probably have a slightly higher chance of being made, due to the higher number of variants, which means Yamato can milk the molds more. The results of this poll will be passed to Yamato in two weeks time. Graham
  14. Max's VF-22 looks awesome. It's always been one of my favorite color schemes. A must buy. Graham
  15. No, the Macross Frontier licence is completely different from Macross 7 licence. Bandai will retain exclusivity on the Frontier toy licence for several more years at least. Expect another Macross 7 repaint of an existing toy (with some minor retooling - gunpod, pilot & FPs) to be announced soon. (Not too hard to guess which). I'm pushing Yamato to consider making either a VF-17D/S/S-Milia, or a VF-19Kai/F/S/P. Graham
  16. Nope, not even my favorite a VF-17D. I just think clear or plated versions are silly. Graham
  17. Not me. I just don't like it. Even if it was half the price of the regular version, I still wouldn't buy it. Clear or metallic plated versions have never been my thing. Graham
  18. Neither the clear version, or the movie color version do anything for me. I will pass on both. And the shield on the movie version doesn't look any closer to the arm to me. Graham
  19. Looking to buy the VF-0D if anybody is selling. Graham
  20. Hmmm........those two little doors are interesting. Graham
  21. I uploaded all 25 eps of Frontier to my PSP months ago and it all still plays fine. Just this new MUF ad seemings to be giving me a hard time. PSP doesn't have the correct codec perhaps? Graham
  22. Downloaded the MUF vid and tried to convert it with Agile PSP Converter software, so I can watch it on my PSP, but even after converting, My PSP is saying it's an invalid file format. Anybody else tried putting it on their PSP and had the same problems or success? Graham
  23. The VT-1 is a really nice toy IMO. Great job Yamato. It's probably my favorite of the V2 1/60 VF-1 series so far. Not sure why the complaints about lack of Tampo printing. It seems to have quite a lot of markings. I'm certainly happy with the amount of printing. And for those of you late to the party, the shoulder hinge pin design was modified a while back, so that the ends of the pin are no longer knurled, which reduces the stress on the plastic shoulder hinge. This seems to have greatly reduced the number of incidents of shoulder cracking. I'd just like to state though on the 20 or so V2 VF-1 toys I have on display, ech one transformed several times, I have yet to experience any cracking or stress marks on the shoulder hinges. My advice, just enjoy the toy and don't be scared of transforming it at all. Graham
