  1. I think I spotted an armoured VF-11 twice in the video. Graham
  2. Still hoping for a cannon-fodder VF-25 brownie. You would think that would be a no-brainer for Bandai, given that it is a simple repaint of the VF-25G. Personally, I doubt we will see a completely redesigned DX VF-25. I really do hope we get a VF-171/171EX and VF-27 DX though. Graham
  3. Great job Sketchley. Most interesting. Graham
  4. Been playing Sad Sniper Ex for about 7 hours now and can defeat it more frequently, but still only getting Bs or Cs. Any tips for quickly defeating Brera? Graham
  5. These days I seldom keep boxes, due to lack of space. Most of the time they get thrown out. Graham
  6. Also picked up Great Mechanics DX 9. As others have mentioned, the cover is great and maybe the text contains some new information (I don't know, not being able to read Japanese). However, the lineart is nothing new that hasn't been published in a dozen other books and the quality of the lineart to be honest is not that great. Many of the pics have been enlarged to the point where the lines show obvios jagged edges. Graham
  7. Is it just me, or does it Graham
  8. I can't stand it either. In fact, I'm convinced they mixed up the word order of the site name and in fact it should be called 'It Ain't Cool. Graham
  9. Err.....not really. While the overall silhouette may be similar, apart from the gunpod, the VF-17 and VF-171 share no identical parts. Toys of the two would require 100% different tooling. Graham
  10. OK, just thought I'd bet check to make sure. Graham
  11. I see Captain America has already posted in this thread, so I'm presuming that this recast is being done with his full approval and permission? Graham
  12. One thing that I don't think anybody has commented on so far, is that under the slip band on the cover, it says in English: The bit that says "stratosphere only", gives me hope that we will see a second volume on the VF-1 for space use. Graham
  13. How much did you pay for yours? I'm looking to pick up a second one, but when I checked 188 Center in Wanchai today, it was HK$1,099, which seems a little high to me. Graham
  14. Saw it last night. Definitely my favorite film of the year so far. Graham
  15. Hi Guys, Here's a few quick photos of the new 1/60 VT-1 I snapped this morning. To be honest, I haven't transformed it yet, as it looks so good in fighter mode. No weapons included, but it does have hard points on the wings if you want to attach missiles. Graham
  16. There are only 6 x VF-1 in the first wave. When does 6 out of 17 = 50%?????????? Graham
  17. Looking forward to seeing this. It's not showing here in Hong Kong until earlier October though. Saw the 2 online trailers recently. Gotta say the alien ship looked very ID4 mothership-ish. Graham
  18. Thanks. Checked and mine's a '2006', so as suspected, Hong Kong - region 3, which makes sense as I bought it in Hong Kong. Graham
  19. Box!? That went in the bin, 5 minutes after buying the thing nearly a year ago (or whenever it was that MAF came out). Graham
  20. That may or may not be the case. That magazine pic you are quoting is already over a month old (the previous issue of Dengeki Hobby), whereas these C3 pics are much newer. Graham
  21. This is the definitive version of the VT-1, we have been waiting 25 years for. Awesome, Awesome, beautiful toy!
  22. On the DX line in general, it's quite common to have paint chips or damaged Tampo printing brand new out of the box.
  23. Have to study the CG art again, but first impressions are the upper arms look too long & skinny on the Q-Rea toy.
  24. So how does one tell what region is ones PSP?
